Needed to lighten up the dining room. Dark wood table and dark wood flooring made it feel cold. This area rug added some light and texture which was exactly what we were going for. Didn’t seem to have any smell as other reviews mentioned. Overall great quality and good price.

i bought this for one of my guest bedrooms and i just love how it looks. i thought it would be hard jute but its not. its soft gentle on the feet.

I received my rug and was very happy and impressed with this rug.  Jute is very difficult to predict.  It is very chunk and thick which looks expensive to me.  It is very heavy.  It does shed a tiny bit.  I put a thick pad underneath and it is super soft to walk on.  It does have some knots in the fibers but I think that is natural with a thick jute rug.

Initially smelled a little upon arrival but once I opened it up in the room the odor and moisture were gone. It immediately relaxed without any creases.  Beautiful color and a great addition to our guest room.  I was a little worried about the tassels with the vacuum cleaner but its been a non issue

Great Jute rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered a jute rug and it arrived way faster than I expected.  At first I thought it was the wrong size because the packaging was smaller than I expected but it unfolded to be the right size and it didn't have any bunches or creases at all! There was a smell that freaked me out but after reading up I realized that a real jute rug does tend to smell in the beginning and that the smell will fade. I found that to be true as each day passed. The quality is amazing and it handles my Dyson vacuum beautifully. I read that these rugs may shed a lot at first however, I haven't experienced that at all, even with our crazy kitten and very large dog running all over it throughout the day.  Highly recommend!

It’s more like 1” thick!

And people talked about it being “dirty” but that’s just the natural jute pieces in there that didn’t quite hold the dye in my opinion. I wouldn’t call it dirty. 

Overall very pleased with it!

Blue Chunky Loop Rug

nice rug! def comes with a smell and had to let air out for a day. it will leave a little dirt residue as it sheds. but feels great underneath my feet, hides dirt well with two little ones and is a beautiful neutral jute rug. No regrets in my purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice rug and soft underfoot. The one problem is that the jute is loosely woven so the frindge on the ends comes apart when vacuumed and the weave in the body of the rug looks like it's coming apart. Surprising for a rug that is new with no wear and tear yet.

Nice rug but quality not as high as expected

Received as expected and free shipping is great. However, the rug was wet and it was not the rug I thought I was getting. it was inside a plastic covering but there was water and condensation in the plastic bag and the rug smelled bad! It really stunk! I placed the rug in front of my fireplace to help dry it out and first side dried in a few hours and then I flipped the rug over for drying the other side.  Rug still smells but I am spraying with FEBREZE to hopefully get the moldy smell out of it. :(

WET when arrived.

The rug was very thick and it actually hurt your feet walking on it as it pricked as you walked on it.  The rug smelled so bad like it was in a moldy basement forever.... I was hoping it would air out and it did not and the smell was strong enough it went thru the entire apt...  I literally rolled it back up and threw it in the dumpster as I was not going to pay for shipping .

I have bought jute rugs before from other vendors and this was the first one that I got rid of within a few hours.  Very disappointed
