I bought the 6x9 size. At first I thought it'd be softer from the reviews but after a couple of days I realized it really was soft. We wanted a nice cozy shag for our living room and this was perfect. I probably would've gone a size up but I live in an apt so I think this size was perfect. It's not see through, you can actually lose stuff in this shag pretty easily so it's very thick.

I'm giving this rug a 3/ 5 because while I like the style, size, price, and color. I hate the texture and smell. I don't know exactly what or where the smell is coming from but I've had the carpet laid out for 2-3 weeks and it still smells like chemicals. I can't even sit on it because it makes me itchy and it makes everything I put on it smell like chemicals which is unfortunate because I don't even want to put my baby on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is so cute, but it was not nearly as soft as I expected. It is furry and thick, but the material isn't that luxurious, silky soft feel you get from super soft rugs. Also, it had a very strong chemical smell which didn't go away after airing out the rug for 2 days in a ventilated room AND sprinkling a bag of baking soda all over the rug and vacuuming it the next day. I ended up selling it on FB marketplace.

I bought this rug for my husband and I's bedroom and it smells absolutely AWFUL. The mixed fumes of factory and chemicals smelled so bad that it was burning my eyes when I was laying in bed and I couldn't even sleep. I left it outside for FIVE days to air out, dumped an entire box of powder rug cleaner, vacuumed it numerous times and sprayed it down with a heavy duty rug fabric freshener spray. I have now spent 2 weeks just trying to get the awful smell out of this rug with no success. I am also 22 weeks pregnant and do not feel comfortable leaving it in my room and breathing in the fumes from this rug all night. 100% a waste of money and I will never order from this sight again.
