Looks beautiful under our dining room table, purchased the 6x9. Thick and sturdy, with enough natural variation to give it an interesting texture. I researched jute rugs forever before deciding on this one. The price is unbeatable and the quality is great.  I love it so much I want to buy the matching runner next!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased two of the 8x11 in natural jute. Beautiful rugs. They did have a bit of a burlap bag smell for just a few days. As to be expected with this type of material. I wouldn’t hesitate purchasing again.

Lovely Rugs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 6' round rug for under my dining table and it looks exactly how I hoped. I didn't notice any weird coloration, fraying, or stitching issues like some of the other reviews mentioned. I also haven't noticed any major shedding, but it just sits under my table and isn't in a high traffic area. My only complaint is that it smelled like mildew when I opened it. Like it had been sitting in a damp warehouse for a while. I let it air out outside in the sun and the smell was gone within a couple hours. For the price, this is a great rug and I don't have any regrets about my purchase.

Grrrreat!

The color of this rug is beautiful. It’s more of a royal blue then the picture online. It’s exactly the size, style and color I wanted. Just FYI the rug is made of individual braids that are stitched together. Some of the seems holding the braids together have come loose. I am able to repair them but I would say for the average person this rug may start to come apart fairly quickly with regular use. I like the rug and am able to hold it together but I wouldn’t buy this one again. If you need a large area rug, go for something with higher quality.  If you need a smaller rug this one would work out okay in an area with very little traffic

Nice looking but fragility

This is exactly what you should expect your rug to look like based on the description. The braided jute rug is very attractive and soft on the feet. 
The only reason I didn’t give this a 5-star rating is that there are a couple of spots where the stitching is loose and coming undone. However it’s an easy fix and this was a good buy for the price.

Natural colored 6x9 braided jute rug

This rug is really beautiful and is soft for a natural jute material; I am satisfied with the rug but did want to mention that the braid is not very taught and wish I had known that before purchasing. The flexibility of the rug makes it difficult to lay straight on the sides. It takes a lot of finesse at first to get it to resemble a rectangle and to eliminate the "squiggly" nature of the sides. It is also a very flexible braid so it does "scootch" very easily under furniture. If you like doing yoga in your living room you would not want to do so directly on this rug -- it will move with you. 

I ordered this in a 9x12 size and used a 9x12 rug pad. Since the weave pulls in different directions so easily it was hard to get it to line up with the rug pad. I am using this jute rug as a base layer and layered another heavier, more structured rug on top of it, so I am not noticing it move around as much as when it was the only rug on the floor. 

Overall good product for the price.

Good product; Material very flexible

We bought two of these rugs for our kitchen. One in an oval and one in a circle. The circle was a significantly different shade than the oval. The circle was more of a neutral tone, closer to gray, whereas the oval had more of a warmer/orange/brown tone like the product images. It was still nice but it didn’t look like the product image. The oval matched the product image much better. Of course there’s going to be some variation because of the material, but given they were going in the same room, almost right next to each other, it just didn’t work for us. However, I was able to discuss my concerns with customer service and they set up a return and sent another circle rug which matched much better and now we are happy with them.

Color can vary from product image

Would not recommend to anyone with pets or small children because of the shedding and loose weave.  It is also more yellow than the pictures represent, so I ended up white-washing it.  Before taking it out of the packaging, I could see that the border was already pulling away from the rug (pictures available).  I whip stitched this to prevent full separation.  All-in-all, I got what I paid for.  It’s an inexpensive rug.

I should have spent more for a better rug.

The rug is a great size for the price and overall I like it, however there is discoloration in areas that are black and brown and look like stains on the carpet. I also find it weird there is pieces of sticks/tree bark like material mixed into the rug.

Jute rug

Stains ALL OVER the rug and wood chips sewn throughout it. I can’t believe they actually sent something of this quality to a customer… the rug belongs in the trash, yet they’re making me send it back, probably to send to someone else who buys it. 

Please beware!!!!! Nightmare of a experience.
