[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with the whale rug that we ordered. We chose the 7 foot runner size which ends making the whale take up most of the space in the pattern.  It's bold for sure but my husband liked it so much, we kept it. The weave is flat but still nice to walk on. The colors are bright (coral red, navy blue, with blueish gray) and the tassels are large and well made. Delivery was on time despite covid delays.

This rug was incredibly well-made and looked exactly like the picture! The colors were vibran,t and the picture of the whale was dark and bold! I LOVE IT!!!! I would recommend this site to anyone wanting high-quality rugs!

Money Well Spent!

It was exactly what I wanted! I was pleasantly surprised to find that when my dog left muddy prints on the rug, if I let them dry, the dirt vacuumed right up! Good as new.

Whale rug

I love this rug! I bought the whale rug and the octopus rug. They are so cool and classy. I know when people visit my home, the rugs will be eye catching. I bought the high quality padding to go underneath as well. They're slip resistant on my laminate floors, and add extra cushion.

Unique and good quality!

Really like the way the rug looks, colors are mostly vibrant.  Item arrived quickly and was fairly easy to un-package.  The bad part?  The rug had a terrible musty smell that reminded me of an old wet basement.  After doing some on-line research I determined it was most likely the dyes that are used.   I tried vacuuming both side of the rug which helped a little, but not enough to make it tolerable.  As a last result before trying to figure out how to return it, I bought a container of bad air, odor absorber.  This has really helped and made it tolerable, although you still catch a slight odor.  I am hoping that the off gassing will eventually stop all together.  If not for the smell it would be 5 stars.

Looks Great, Smells Terrible

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave it 3 stars because although the rug is beautiful and well made, it does have a strong odor.  It is going to be used in our nursery and thankfully I have a few months to let it air out - but if you purchase this and are hoping to use it in a living area right away, you will be pretty upset to open it and realize how bad it smells!  It's definitely a chemical smell that will give you a headache.  But again, the rug is beautiful!  I do wish the manufacturer would provide some kind of information about the smell and how to help get rid of it.

Beautiful Rug but bad smell!

Bought this to go along with the 7'6'' by 9' large rug.  The colors are much more muted and not nearly as bright as the large rug.  Aside from that the rug is fine and arrived quickly.  Most importantly, no terrible musty smell that the large rug had.

Colors are not vibrant

Please note that if u purchase a runner the whale is very LARGE!
The picture is of a square rug so u see the blue and red all around the whale. I bought for my beach house, so it very whimsical and I chuckle to myself when I see the size of whale.

Maybe this one rug was overlooked in quality control.  It was inexpensive-so I got what I paid for.  The tassels were faded and poor quality.  It was difficult for me to walk on as they seemed too thick.  They also were not even.  No problem-I cut them off and it was an improvement.  The whale body had a couple of pulled threads that may or may not pull out later. 
Yes I could have sent Moby back but I prefer to think of his flaws as harpoon injury. 
On a positive note-I like How Moby has brightened my dining room with a rug on a rug look.
