I loved my original nutribullet with 900 power. But my upgrade to the 1200 was a gamechanger. I love that it has the 2 buttons. I usually start with the lower surge button. Then when I see everything the ingredients are working through, I use the top button which works for a timed period. My smoothies are always done to the same perfect thick consistency. In comparison to the old one where I'm guessing when things are fully blended. It's great that the container is locked in place and you don't have to hold it there. You can walk away and let it run its cycle and the suction cup feet keep it set on the counter.

MUCH QUIETER THAN MY OLD NUTRIBULLET. WORKS MUCH FASTER ALSO.. THE LITTLE FOOD PROCESSOR THAT WORKS WITH IT IS AWESOME.

WORKS GREAT

I have used the same Magic Bullet for about 15 years and it is still working. The reason for purchasing the new Nutriibullet is the larger capacity of the container. It has proved to be an excellent addition, the smoothies are sublime, bread crumbs are a breeze, all with the footprint of a large mug. I love it!

Such a good addition to a kitchen

Makes delicious smoothies, so simple to use and easy to clean, glad to go back to a nutribullet after the expensive one I bought turned out to be a pain to clean!!! With the nutribullet I load up, hit go and there's my lovely smoothie! I rinse the blade under the tap, slurp away happily until my tasty smoothie (with hidden veg!) is all gone, then I rinse off the cup bit and every so often pop in the top shelf of the dishwasher for a good blast. Easy! Another bonus is it looks swish on my worktop and doesn't take up loads of room like the bulky ones.

So glad I went back to nutribullet!

I've only used it twice for a smoothie and once for hummus. It made a good smoothie with frozen berries. It struggled a bit with hummus as too dry and I needed to keep opening it up and adding more oil. This would definitely have been easier with an upright liquidiser. It is noisy but I've nothing to compare it with except my ancient magimix, and it's louder than that.

First time user.

Overall, a great product that performs exactly as advertised. I was torn between the Ninja and the Nutribullet, and I'm glad I went with this one—it blends beautifully and handles everything I throw at it.

However, I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the cup cracked and chipped on first use, which was disappointing. I'm not sure what caused it, as I followed all the instructions carefully. Aside from that issue, it's a solid choice and does the job well.

Prefer the switch arrangement over the previous version, not too sure about the 30 second timer as I always need to run twice. 

Would like a smaller cup and unable to find one in the accessories list.

Flex lead too short!! Have had to move everything around to reach my socket outlet.

Other than these issues appears to be good.

Minor Issues

This has a nice motor and touch controls which are easy to use.  Although it is of good quality, I am disappointed to have spent so much money on something which does not consistently break down foods like fresh strawberries and kale.  It takes more effort than my previous 600 series which, with differently designed blades, created smoother smoothies with less effort.  Although this is a little less noisier and nicer to look at, I wish I had spent less money and replaced my faulty 600 series with the same model.  Oh well, I will have to stick with this, for now, as it is a lot of money to spend and not use it.

Good, but the 600 series is better

My old Nutribullet 1200 Series broke, or rather the rubber gears on blade wore out and the plastic gears on the base too. There are no replacement spare parts sold anymore.  Shame, it creates more electrical equipment waste...
So I went and brought new Nutribullet Ultra with the same 1200W power.
Firstly the blade on the base are significantly smaller and i see it in the performance of the vortex, it's rubbish. Secondly, the large 900ml cup is smaller. The max lines hold the same volume of water, but I could overfill the old container. Not anymore.  Now I'm forced to split my smoothie into 2 runs otherwise it doesn't fit. And i can't return it because it had contact with food

Old Nutribullet 1200 Series was better

I recently upgraded our nutribullet from the standard 600W model to a 1200W Ultra and have been really disappointed with the performance. The 32oz containers are actually smaller in the upgrade (taller but thinner design) which reduces the size of what you can make. And the motor does not run as smoothly as the 600W.

Upgrades are not worth the price tags
