Gheez, details about a tampon.  Ok, some people, like myself, have a very heavy flow and often the Ultra's are hard to find..  These are a discreet sized tampon that has superior absorbency and doesn't look obvious in your jeans pocket.  Non-applicator are not for everyone, but I like the reduction in size and waste, so they are a go for me.

These tampons are awesome. I definitely recommend as an alternative to the Tampax Ultra and for those who have heavy bleeding or conditions with heavy bleeding… They absorb really well and are compact so you can fit many in your purse. They absorbed as much or maybe even a little bit better than the Tampax Ultra and you get  40 per pack and not as expensive. They are applicator free but they're easy to use and the instructions are easy to follow and it's actually not messy at all.  They come individually wrapped in clear wrapping but that's wasn't an issue for me.. These are a really good choice.

Great Alternative to the Tampax Ultra

My 1st try at applicator free! I will say being a heavy flow girl, this box of 40 seemed to last about 3 cycles. And I would swear I go through that many in one with other brands. Money well spent.

Money saver, earth saver

Been using OB tampons for about 20 years, they're my favorite brand to use— no leakage whatsoever. Pro tip- make sure to wrap in toilet paper and throw in the trash after using. Any tampons overtime will clog your plumbing if you're flushing them down the toilet (I just had a $$$ situation) so keep that in mind! The ultra ones are a lifesaver!

I have been using O.B. tampon for 21 years. What attracted me to the beginning was its creation. It was designed and designed by professionals. At first I thought it was unthinkable not to have applicators but once try and position, we love it. On a few occasions the product has had its ups and downs. The packaging difficult to open, plastic tab that was hard to lift, which was tearing.... Or the buffer material that was more frigid, or too flofi (mucky) that leaves some unwanted particles. However, box after box, year after year I have seen the evolution of O.B. Sometimes they are hard to spot or non-existent on the trading tablets. The sizes and sizes available at the store vary a lot from one place to another. But I can go miles to find them which forces me at this moment to make some reserve. Trying it is adopting it No other brand can compete with them.

For anyone that is considering switching brands to these O.B's, i highly recommend. Very absorbent. Very comfortable.  I ride harley motorcycles which have lots of vibration (tending to cause most women a little urine leakage) so these are a great little stopper(!) lol  Cant share a photo but i have been a customer for years and years.

Favorite brand

My favorite without the extra wrapping! Fits in my pocket or bra without being noticed. Comfortable!

Comfortable

First off, like so many people have commented in here, these tampons were the only ones on the market that worked for heavy flow.  They WERE great.  Not sure why they had to be changed.  Seems like another product of shrink-flation.  Not only are they smaller but they don't absorb as good.  Blood seems to slip right past.  Can you please change these back to what worked for sooooo many loyal customers who have used these products since they were teenagers.  Regards, a disappointed customer since I was 15, now 41.

WHY?

I've never missed an applicator so much! Not only do I feel like my fingers are not long enough to put this up far enough but it feels like sandpaper as I try and it pulls skin with it and makes it hurt even more. Lastly, they don't last as long. They leak way quicker than the ultra's I've used with an applicator.

Ouch!

I dont know why this has nearly 5 stars. Its so unsanitary to put this tampon on. You have to put your finger and touch the actual tampon to make it wider. No matter how clean your hands are you still risk the chance of getting bacteria in your vagina.
