Comfort

Quality

Support

Provides comfortable support for a straight back.

Provides support with its contoured design.

I bought 2 seats for my Honda CRV. The seats have never been comfortable for my husband and I. These seats have made a huge difference in our comfort.

homedics.com

This seat has SAVED my tailbone. I sit for long, long hours transcribing and it was becoming so painful. I ordered this on a whim. It was delivered the NEXT day.

Gamechanger

I bought this for a friend. They have been using it for a week now. So far so good. The seat is comfortable and practical. It is a little more flat compared to the picture (does not have any defined contours), but is still doing its job nonetheless so far.

Happy with my purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been working from home since last March. In my office, I had a standing desk that I loved to use. However, with working from home, I'm constantly sitting down and started feeling back/neck/butt pain I had never experienced for.

With a little research, I landed on the ObusForme seat and honestly - it's amazing. It's like sitting on a supportive cloud that has resolved all of the pain I felt from sitting down 8 hours a day.

WFH Live (& Back) Saver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cushion has been a great addition to my office chair since I've been working from home since the beginning of the pandemic. I like how thick it is, and the gel gives it a bit more give and flexibility. This product has definitely helped to improve my posture and overall comfort.

Comfy

Very thin, not comfortable or firm, not as padded as we thought.

Not satisfied

This is truly a lifesaver. My job as an emergency service radio operator requires I sit for 12-14hrs a shift. I was experiencing pressure points which resulted in pain and circulation issues. This cushion has helped a lot with that.

Obus gel seat cushion

I bought this Obusforme Gel Seat for use on the seats in airplane travels, for plane seats cause pains in my sacrum bone area.

This gel seat cushioned some of the harshness due to the lack of support in the plane seats.

I wish the gel piece is wider to provide more support for the buttock.

There are cheaper gel type seat cushions in some shops, but I prefer the Obusforme one because of its thoughtful design. The outer cover can be removed for washing.

Relief of sacroiliac pains

obusforme.com

This cushion makes it more comfortable to sit. I suffer from neuropathy as an aftermath of a spinal cord injury. I wasn't expecting a "cure" to my pain, but it does relieve the pain of sitting down and for that I'm grateful.

Does what I expected from it.

In the picture, the seat looks very contoured. Something I was looking for to keep my lower back aligned. However, it's more of a flat surface that slightly molds to your eh-em, behind. It comfortable, but not really what I was looking for.

not exactly as pictured

It’s a little better than not using it in my chair. But I expected better results. Given my profession, I sit almost all day. I feel a little less pain than before at the end of the day. I'm a little disappointed, but I'm thinking it's better than nothing. Maybe the manufacturer should have put more gel inside. The article is too thin in my opinion: not enough fluffy.

Not so effective

ObusForme® Gel Seat contoured gel cushion with visible gel grid insert, molded polyurethane foam base and breathable mesh cover, designed for ergonomic support and zoned firmness and suitable for use on office chairs or in cars.
