I purchased this ribbon to make tie backs for new sheer curtains for my bathroom.   It was perfect for this application and was exactly what I wanted.

My first pick was a thinner ribbon but this turned out to be just fine for wrapping some Christmas gifts.  It's made of kind of a mesh-like material, slightly transparent, and has a very pretty silver border along the length.  I'm very happy with the purchase and would purchase this item again.
