Every computer newbie or expert needs a USB flash drive. Chances are if you're like my house, you search for one of these when you need to copy files such as family photos or even work files to telework. And I never have one when I need it.

This USB is great because it's travel friendly as you can hang it on your key chain and then it's there when you need it.

A must have for all computer users

I recently got my hands on the Onn 128 GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive, and it's been awesome. Right from the start, I noticed how much quicker it is at transferring files than my old USB drives. Moving big files like photos is super easy and saves me a ton of time. The 128 GB space is perfect for when I need to move photos and videos from one computer to another!

The design is sleek and is retractable, so it won't get caught or damaged, which is great for on-the-go use. It feels sturdy too, so I'm not worried about it breaking anytime soon. If you need reliable storage, this flash drive is a solid pick. Totally recommend it!

Love this Onn 128 USB 3.1 Flash Drive!

Great for storing needed items. It was easy to plug in and store items. Great for work or personal travel as it is light weight but durable. I would suggest that the glide feature of the plug is smoother as it can get difficult to slide the port in and out.

Works!

Onn. USB 3.1 flash drive is great addition on perfect time. I started my education back and needed something to store and transfer the data from system to system. And guess what! This drive works great and helped me a lot. It's very easy to use, nice material and have enough capacity to store and transfer the data. Just one thing is when I plugged it into system it showed me 116GB instead of 128GB. It's not an issue but yea amazed to have it.

Great capacity

Honestly, I don't enjoy USBs that are in retract form, as they tend to come loose and then it is a nightmare to try to plug it into computers. So far this retract port is more sturdy than the previous USB I have tried, so far so good. However, the 3.1 USB port should have a reading speed of up to 400Mb/s while this one in the manual says up to 100Mb/s which is USB 3.0 speed, which is already a step down from a good USB drive. When I was testing it by transferring 23Gb of data (my computer does have USB 3.1 port) into/writing into USB, it never went faster than 30mb/s which is consistent with my USB 3.0 hard drive. and when transferring out/reading of the USB drive, I get consistent 35mb/s, do note I know there are probably configurations you can set to speed up the transfer rate, but I choose the default setting so I won't shorten my hard drive life span. For reference, I do have a standard SSD drive. But overall, it is a decent 3.0 USB drive but not the 3.1 that it claim to be.

Simple, works, Standard 3.0

I have received this flash drive from home tester club. I used it to store data and move it from one device to another. Its a very high speed flash drive and i was able to upload and download data from it in seconds. I highly recommend this flash drive for personal and professional use. It will save time and secure your data.

ONN 3.1 Flash Drive

I like using this USB for my work needs because the storage capacity is excellent. The ample space allows me to store all of my important documents, spreadsheets, and other files in one place, making it easy to access and transfer data as needed. Additionally, the compact design and sturdy construction of the USB make it convenient to carry it around with me, ensuring that I always have my work files at hand whenever and wherever I need them. Overall, this USB has proven to be a reliable and valuable tool for my professional needs, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an efficient and dependable storage solution for their work.

Good USB!

The onn. USB 3.1 Flash Drive 128GB really impressed me with its quick data transfer speeds and large storage capacity. I was able to transfer 1.24 GB of data in under a minute and a half, which is much faster than my other USB drives.

However, I'm not a fan of the plain grey color—it's a bit too utilitarian for my taste. I prefer something more colorful. The retractable design is nice for protecting the USB connector, but it can be a bit tricky to push it back in.

Despite these minor issues, this USB drive meets my needs perfectly. It's reliable and efficient, though I'd love to see it available in more colors.

Reliable Speed and Storage USB

I was happy to receive this 128GB onn USB 3.1 Flash Drive from Home Tester Club in exchange of my honest review.
First, I do like the fact that it has a retractable USB as it keeps it cleaner and just overall neater looking. I also enjoy the fact that I can put it on my keychain to always have it with me.
I do a lot of crafts therefore need a lot of picture files so having this storage is wonderful because I use different computers for different projects and hate to go back and forth between them just to find certain files.
This flash drive was decent in speed and does the job. 
The only thing that I was concerned about is that it is very light plastic and hopefully doesn't break easily.

Convenient Storage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The performance is abysmal by 2024 standards. The write speed is about 29.4 MB/s under Linux zeroing out the entire drive, ~13 MB/s writing random data. Though it is USB3 compatable only the read speeds will utilize it. The build quality isn't great. The snapping action of moving the port in and out works firmly but the cheap plastic feels like it could be included as a McDonald's Happy Meal toy. If this is your only option for storage it will do the job but there are better alternatives on the market.
