It's not bad for the price. It says 144hz on the box but it's 120hz on screen. Everything works and the 120hz feature is nice but not as smooth as like Samsung or higher. The Dolby HDR helps the screen look more vibrant and colourful. At the end of the day, you get what you paid for!

Onn TV 55 inch QLED 144Hz 4k

The tech specs are great for the price. It’s kind of sorta mini LED, but the refresh rate is real. 

If you’re mounting it, make sure you get a hook type mount. It only has top mounting screws. The lower holes aren’t actually for mounting screws. No threads or anything. 

Blacks are good, works with Dolby Vision on my Apple TV. I don’t love the Roku interface, but I rarely use it.

Great value!

I took the chance with this brand of tv from Walmart for the first time, and so far, I am impresed. The picture quality is very good, the sound system is very decent. In fact, it is louder and clearer than  what I was expecting for a tv at this price point.  If you are a gamer, you can hook up your consoles (PS5 and Xbox SX/S) to the two HDMI 2.1 ports (HDMI 3 and 4) of this tv and enjoy no lag gaming and great fluidity at 120 HZ refresh rate. The responsivines of the UI is also very decent for a Roku tv system. Overall, this is a great buy at a budget entry level. The only thing I would say needs improvement is the VESA mounting system, because is limiting your options for mounting the tv to stands,  with the two very short screws provided for the lower anchoring points of the TV. Other than that, a geat buy!.

Great 4KTV with premiun features for a low price!

Holy Guac this TV is AMAZING, the picture settings out of the box need to be changed but the picture is absolutely incredible. Best looking TV I have ever purchased, good amount of ports, Roku works great and everything else, fantastic price for what you are getting. If I could rate it even higher then 5 stars I would.

The best TV I have ever purchased, bar none =)

Very good - black are actually black. I have this TV wall mounted in my bedroom and it was no problem. Stock sound on the TV is shockingly good for casual watching, I do not need a soundbar with this TV with I never thought I would say. This beats every TV I've ever owned in this price range and probably every TV you could buy up to $600.

Fantastic panel color, blacks and sound

The 4K picture quality is crisp, and the built-in interface is incredibly fast and intuitive. Setup took less than 10 minutes, and the streaming performance is seamless. It’s a perfect, budget-friendly centerpiece, good for gaming, streaming, and watching movies.
I would highly recommend this product.

Exceptional value for the price!

Very nice TV for the price.  Picture is decent although some blooming is noticed but that isn't surprising given there are only 84 local dimming zones.  The only issue was the problem some people may face mounting the TV on a wall.  The bottom back portion of the TV is sticks out and will likely impede the wall mount.  The screws supplied won't reach the top mounting holes.  The bottom two mounting holes are not threaded.  Two self tapping screws are supplied.  Just seems stupid.  McGyver skills required.  Be warned that if using the legs sit very far apart.

Nice TV but not without issues.

Wall mounting this tv was a huge issue. The bottom two holes aren’t threaded at all. I had to buy the extra Onn wall mount screw replacement sets, and the quoted M6 screw size did not work. I had to force a M5 into the hole. Frame of TV not fully sealed to screen at the bottom, and there’s a small gap between the frame and the screen at the top. The TV itself works and the Roku features are great.

Don’t attempt to wall mount, solid tv

This tv is a absolute steal for its price point. it has capabilities like 144hz refresh rate and variable refresh rate that is something you would find on units that easily cost twice as much.
 The color reproduction is superb. It has phenomenal response time meaning no ghosting in motion in games or movies. Even the speakers are very decent.
 All of this awesomeness comes with one absolutely unignorable problem.....the brightness.
  At a peak brightness of 400 nits this tv is incredibly dim. Sure when playing very bright HDR content it's doable, but if your playing anything with dark scenes in movies or games it's very difficult to see what's going on. it's so bad that it actually degrades the image quality.
 I get that this tv is inexpensive, but such a major oversight on onn (Walmart's) behalf has crippled what could have been a really phenomenal product.

Amazing tv with a major deal breaker

the user interface was not as that of Google. also, despite being a mini led and even with max brightness, night scenes were not visible (i had to turn off my night lamp and had to rewatch those scenes).

don't go for a Roku TV
