Responsiveness

I actually managed to use the 2020 version of the 8" onn tablet up until this year. Still technically works, but it was still past time for an update and this is the one I waited for. Everything about this tablet is a reflection of onn's goals of providing quality products for standard settingly low prices. I can already tell that, short of some small disaster cutting it's life short, this tablet will be holding up as well as the last, so I'll be using this past 2030!

Love the new model!

walmart.com

i read all the reviews on here. there were a couple that said this is only a 'basic' tablet. honestly i would say to them that if you are looking for a heavy duty gaming tablet, yes look elsewhere. but you will also find that you have to spend over a lot more and to expect that kind of performance from a $138 unit is silly. For every day email, web surfing, facebook, etc, this is a very responsive unit and for me it's perfect.

Heavy gamers steer clear, regular folk enjoy!

I own three iPad Airs of different generations and none of them seem as fast as thise Onn tablet. I'm speechless to how well made and fast this little tablet is. I don't think there is an Android tablet on the market than can touch it for price, quality and the speed. Onn really knocked it out of the park with this 8.1 inch tablet.

Get yourself one before they sale out!

This 8-inch tablet is honestly amazing. It's peppy with a Snapdragon processor and 6GB RAM, has nice speakers, and has a nice display. And a 90Hz display at this price point?! A no brainer. I also love the all-aluminum build. It's very durable and comparable to the iPad Mini. I do wish the base model came at 128GB storage, though. 64GB is just not enough in 2026. Not many manufacturers offer 8-inch tablet options these days. And if you look, most of them are $200 , besides Amazon Fire tablets, but those are very limited due to Amazon's FireOS. You get way more features and a better bang for your buck with this tablet. I don't think you will regret getting this.

Perfect 8 inch tablet

I bought this tablet for upcoming travel as I didn't want to take my laptop. I absolutely love this little tablet. It was easy to setup and was very user friendly. I was able to customize it to my needs and so far am pleased with the battery life. Very happy with this purchase!

Minimal bloatware - very vanilla. Very solid build quality., Lower screen resolution/refresh is really not a problem in this size. Great value for ram - very snappy. Overall, extremely satisfied with the value for the money. Perfect for IPTV and Stemio/DebridStream when on the go.

Excellent value - worth the purchase

Great for an ereader that's in color, hands down beats the colorsoft. Good for lightweight use as well and some emulation, if you're into that.

Great Value.

Nice tablet for the money. Wish it had a little wider frame to make holding easier since it is touch screen. First android device so there has been a bit of a learning curve but not too bad.

Pretty nice.

honestly I think hands down for what it can do the way it can do it. it's got tons of abilities to it that are perfect for right now. and if you know how to play with the specs, you've got one heck of a a feature ahead of you because any piece of equipment can be utilized and treated with the most outright respect. also, if you're a nerd you know that less is more.

not a bad buy at all

I have a Samsung A9 that's my "main" tablet and my old Fire tablet was getting a little slow so I purchased this to replace the Fire as my bathroom tablet. It works good and is much quicker than the old Fire tab. I have this so I don't have a bunch of magazines in the bathroom and to play a couple games.
Couple things that stink, Royal Kingdom has sound issue's, sometimes the audio is crackling and distorted. Same on Mahjong unfortunately. I tried clearing cache but sometimes it's still a crackling mess. Also for some reason the screen gets dirtier looking quicker than the Samsung. If the audio issue's could get fixed that would make it a better replacement for my old tab. Too bad because it is a well made quick tablet, maybe the new OS is the cause of the audio issue's.

Nice tablet audio issue's on games.

ordered online, was given a price, when it showed up...used and had a discount sticker on it $44 less than I paid. Will never order from Walmart online again! Useless.

extremely disappointed
