I just got this stuff. I haven't used orajel for 3 years and now I see the formula has changed. I guess it's alright. It is more like a paste, but you know what, I think that is how I received my great relief!! My tooth and gums have been killing me all week and I gave in! I had to get some orajel and I rubbed it in my gums and set a small glob on my tooth. I've had relief all day! I'm so glad and that is with one use! It was worth the cost in my opinion.

I have nerve damage from having a tooth pulled so I have constant Phantom tooth pain.  Had 2 root canals trying to fix the pain.  On a whim I tried the Orajel.  My pain instantly went from a solid constant 6 (I have a high pain tolerance) to a 2.  I cannot explain what it feels to be almost pain free after 2 years of suffering.  I'm hopeful it will continue to keep the pain in check.  Obviously I'm a believer in the product and give it a solid high rating of 5.  I thought I would go crazy and now I just cannot believe it.

Fabulous

I bought this just now and know it will work. People, if you have a toothache for real, don't put it off, because you do have dead or dying tooth pulp and/or nerves in there that are in need of help. This stuff can help but it only keeps at bay what needs to be done. The turmeric paste I've been using has been helping a lot too but I bought this just in case.

I picked this stuff up as a last resort for my molar that cracked off and now has an exposed nerve the pain was so intense I'd have to rate the pain on the scale of 1-10 a 8.5. As soon as I put this stuff along the gum line and in the tooth it was instantaneous relief. I can not recommend this enough it held me over till I was able to get to the dentist this stuff is magic (it's really just really really good numbing agent)

Tastes and feels like the gel they use at the dentists. Have an mouth ulcer and used this, for me it feels like burning then numbs up. little is better or you can accidentally numb up half your face. usually the numbness lasted about 20 min but id say i have an really bad ulcer😭 good for minor pain but shouldnt rely on it

Orajel has saved me plenty of times here recently from mind numbing tooth pain. The product works great my only complaint is that here as of late the tubes I have bought I don't even think they've been a quarter of the way filled. I've been opting for cheaper brands that taste worse do the exact same thing and you get double the amount for a cheaper price

I was in very bad pain and went out to buy the 4x orajel at 11pm on a Friday night thinking it would really help till Monday but I put it on it numbed it for only 4 minutes honestly I timed it then it went away and the pain came back. I was SO disappointed because on a pain level from 0-10 and 10 being the worse I was at an 11 I was hoping it would last AT LEAST threw the night so I could sleep for a bit but nope I was very disappointed!

If I could no stars!

I bought the 4x strength one for a severe toothache that has been making me absolutely miserable. The first time I used it, it numbed the area decently and I slept for the first time in days. Now, every subsequent use, it numbs partially, and only for about five to six minutes before the numbness is gone and the pain is back full force. I wouldn't recommend it if you're in more than mild pain.

Wears off incredibly quickly

I purchased 2 of the triple medicated Orajel (more like a very thick, firm paste) that has done nothing for the pain. I've relied on Orajel most of my adult life, now it looks like I am going to have to find an alternative that actually works for the discomfort & pain.  Plus I will be taking the two I just purchased back for a full refund.  Totally disappointed.

New Gel is more like firm toothpaste.

First tube said it was a jel, but actually was more of a paste, couldn't get it to stick to tooth. Saliva turned it into putty like balls. Top lip got numb for about 2 min. but tooth  pain was on the bottom and further back, and pain still there. Hey gave it a shot use half a tube, got it every where but the tooth. Never helped the tooth, but had fresh breath and a tooth ache.
