It may be more of an item for those of european origin and that makes it right up my alley. It is great and just as expected - thinly sliced and a great addition to my sandwiches. Highly recommended.

I've never been afraid to use private grocery labels for goods, and I'm glad I'm not because this one is superior over many of the brand names. At least when it says salt is an ingredient you don't see granules all over the meat itself.

Haven't tried this yet but the two ignorant reviews are hilarious. That shine you are seeing is light…it shines of meat creating a prism totally normal, can happen on any meat anytime, usually in a bright light. Secondly that grainy texture is salt…and is normal for prosciutto made in Italy….

Not great

The meat was bad. Took it to the cottage and when I opened it the meat was rancid. Couldn't return it because of obvious reasons.

Not great I found with two purchases that the salt has crystallized on the meat so it's like sandy meat texture! Not great!
