Outset cast iron shrimp pan cooks 22 jumbo shrimp in a pool of flavor & prevents food being lost between grill grates. Can be used to serve shrimp cocktail and it easily goes from grill top to tabletop. This pan comes pre-seasoned but applying a little vegetable oil before use helps prevent food from sticking. This makes cooking shrimp very easy with the way it is designed. If you like shrimp on the grill, this is the way to make it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I seasoned it in the oven as was suggested before I used it.  My first time using it I just marinated some shrimp in a tablespoon of EVOO with some lemon pepper seasoning and Old Bay seasoning for an hour in the fridge.  Soooo easy!  I used my small toaster/convection oven since it's winter in Ohio and wasn't about to pull out the grill.  I heated the oven to 350 degrees, then put the empty grill pan in the oven to heat for 15 minutes.  After 15 minutes, I placed one marinated shrimp in each well and let it cook for about 5 more minutes.  They came out perfect!!!!!  Clean up was a bit of a challenge though because I didn't run hot water in it right away as they suggested.  We used a toothbrush to get in the nooks and crannies.  Can't wait to use it again!!!!!!

It's really solid material that holds the temperature all the way through - good for grilling shrimp or anything you would cut to size. I used compound butter to season the pan and cook the shrimp. It's sized for large shrimp, but obviously you don't have to use large shrimp to get your bang for your buck cooking in this pan. It's also great to use with chilled shrimp for shrimp cocktail. I have only had this pan for a short time, but it seems that with proper care, it will last forever.

The pan holds 22 shrimp for your grilling pleasure. I prefer grilling my shrimp this way instead of using kabobs. I am extremely happy with this shrimp grill pan!

I like this better than the flat pans also. This makes pulling them off grill easier and I have room for other stuff on the grill and do not have to worry about keeping them separated. Great Grill Pan

I tried the recipe that came with the pan. Tasted great ! The only con is that it is a bit difficult to clean but worth the effort.

Great pan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't had this long enough to actually try it.  It is winter and the weather not conducive to grilling or getting fresh shrimp. But it appears to be a very well made item.  It has a good weight being cast iron.  We can't wait to try it out.  It holds 20
nice sized shrimp.  Comes with a couple recipes that we will try first just to get the feel of how it works.
