Goes through sand, water and over rocky ground great. He loves doing donuts in the sand with it. Battery life is great. He plays with it for hours before it goes dead. I love having the second battery. Also when the battery is dieing it does not slow down. It's going fast until it's dead then stops in its tracks. Definitely a great purchase and would definitely buy again!
