Only dislike were the instructions. Designed and written for side openings windows. Has to cut the plastic window panel to fit. Once we figured it out it was fast and easy. Its a great machine.  Pretty quiet even on high and cools my large bedroom very quickly. So much better than a window
AC.

Great value

Compared to other 10,000 BTU portable AC units this was a good price on sale. It was delivered a week earlier than expected, which was wonderful. Packed nicely. Smaller than other portable ACs I have had. No portable cools as well as a window AC but this Costway is okay. I put a fan in front of it to pull out and circulate the cool air. Cannot comment on the other functions yet.

Air Con

It does a decent job cooling a small room. Not great, but comfortable enough. It does have a rhythmic hissing noise that's a bit annoying though. Supposedly it's the water slinger hitting the coil. 

It doesn't seem to save settings either, so I keep having to switch to cold mode and crank it down every time.

It's ok

does not cover the area it states it does. and i think the pipe is way to big to call it portable, maybe on wheels to move easily, but still limited to where you can set it up. it show it set up in a home in front of a couch, with no pipes to window showing, very misleading

My 97 yr old mom thought she could turn it off by hitting buttons. We dont know what happened, but it's now frozen on "32" on the screen and not as cold as it was before. We tried to unplug it for a few mins, reset it on the plug, hold down the off button and mode button simultaneously, but NOTHING worked. Not child or senior proof.

Broke in under 12 hours

This is the review for FP10268US above mentioned unit delivered a day ahead of schedule.  Plus       Weather is HOTHOTHOT
Plugged the unit in "ERROR MESSAGE" and no way to fix it except to get the unit registered on COSTWAYs sight.  AND, the dreaded email .....
I will try to get the issue resolved when somebody seems to want to HELP OUT...
Patience is the name of the game.  No matter what.  Because in the end it will be resolved before the HOT weather is gone.  And, that is what matters to me.  COLD AIR NEEDED AND WANTED

Sleep Mode??? No. it's much noisier than I expected

Read the reviews. Sorry I purchased. I did not know I was going to have to empty it weighs 50 plus lbs. I hooked up the drain pipe water leaked all over the floor. A review I read someone solved this problem buy making a stand for the unit and letting it drain into a plastic storage container.
