This Honeywell Air Purifer  is AWESOME.. ever since I plugged it in, 3 weeks ago, the air in my home is so much cleaner.. I have allergies and sinus problems and I breathe so much better! It definitely is a MUST..

Overall it appears to be a good product. It was easy to setup and use. We needed something to help with allergens and odors. The air quality has become worse and we recently painted a room too. It comes with a permanent filter and two prefilters. The regular prefilter is washable but the odor reducing one is not so we also got extras. You have to choose which prefilter to use as it only accepts one. When we first ran it there was definitely a strong odor emitted but after a few days it went away. The noise level is quieter than our older purifier. On 3 I don't hear it much, but at 5 it's noticeable. It's kind of like a soft fan sound. I like that it has rotation and ambient lighting options. It helps with allergies by reducing allergens (dust, dander, etc.)  and vocs. It is rather expensive so look for the occasional sales. The one downside, like with all purifiers, is that one unit doesn't necessarily cover a large or open spaced room. It says it can take a large square footage, but as the disclaimer points out in the fine print there is a difference in functionality.

I just received this air purifier about a week or so ago for my new apt. My new apt is 786 sq. ft. and it covers it perfectly.  I love that it has washable filters instead of having to buy them all the time. when i first turned it on it did have a " factory" smell which gave me a slight headache for about the first couple of hours running but after that the smell was gone. I used to have a bigger Honneywell air purifier which i had to buy filters for. That's why i got this tower one. I needed a smaller one for smaller spaces and i wanted washable filters. I trust Honeywell.  Its a great brand. I feel I'm getting my money's worth with this model all the way around.

This filter really pulls the particles from the air. Change or vac your filters often to keep air flow at a premium. 

It has great air flow. Can work as a filtering fan on high settings. 

It does smell heavily of plastic when you first turn it on. Once its running, the breeze it makes disperses the odor and you no longer notice it. I thought this plastic odor would dissipate, but after 4 months use, it has not yet. I still smell it on every restart.

Other than that, this is a premium air filtration unit. I am very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this rating because I bought an air purifier that said was filterless and it was not. I sent it back and purchased this Honeywell air purifier. This air purifiers very fancy and deluxe it does everything but talk to you. I really like it a lot

This is a wonderful air purifier. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Thank you Honeyville for making such a wonderful machine.

While this did seem to be quite an effective air purifier at first, the more we use it, the less effective it seems; maybe that's just our experience,  though.  It takes a while for the filter to dry once it's been washed. I do like the fact that the air filter IS washable and that I'm not paying for a new filter constantly. 
 It would be great if the fan function was separate,  but in order to use the air filter,  you have to have the fan on. Not the best option in winter.

Going to have to return it. I bought what I thought was a quality air purifier to help remove VOCs from air. The unit puts out a horrible plastic smell that is, in fact, VOCs. What's the point of an air purifier that pollutes the air and makes people sick?

Puts off horrible plastic smell

My first ever air purifier. I guess its filtering air adequately, however it makes an extra sound off and on. It sounds like a fan hitting something its not supposed to hit. taking out the filter and placing it back in place does not stop it.  The extra sound is intermittent and I have found no way to get rid of it. For a week or 10 days it (the extra sound /clicking) went completely away completely.  Ultimately it came back and stays. Its too annoying to be satisfactory. I want to return the unit for a refund. My complaint falls under noise level. Than you for your attention to this request. I don't know how to add pictures.

I really wanted this to work but not the case!  Instead of removing the dust and pet dander it blows it out everywhere.  Have to dust the floors everyday.  I sent the Honeywell I tired of the outside of it.
