I only needed the 8 in pan but I had to buy both since I couldn't find the 8 in pan alone. I already owned the 10 in calphalon pan, so I sold the other 10 in pan. I wish I hadn't had to do all that but that's how much I wanted this pan. Its the perfect size for breakfast for 1. I use it all the time.

I've had another Calphalon fry pan for years and enjoyed the nonstick aspect as well as the even heat across the bottom.  When I decided to replace two other fry pans I had (not Calphalon) I decided to purchase this set.  I not only like the depth of the pans but am really impressed with the longer handles. The new pans also heat evenly across the bottom.  I expect to get years of use from them.

These pans rock! They are excellent for their non stick quality and heat is evenly distributed. I love not having to use as much butter or oil when cooking with these pans for a healthier meal. The overall weight of the pan is easy to handle and speaking of handles love that they remain cool so that you don't need a pot holder. Have bought these for myself and also as a gift for a friend. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a premium non stick versatile pan.

Best Non stick Pan Ever

Great pans but not as scratch resistant as you may think.  Used a pair of metal tongs to flip some chicken breast and it left scratches every where they touched the pan.  Wasn't using them to stir or anything so they weren't being used with any pressure on the surface.

Good but expected more.

Previously, I purchased Calphalon pans and they were thicker material, but obviously things being what they are today you get less.

I usually use the classic and I am getting used to these heavier pans.  I like them, but I may go back to the others.  We will see.  It depends if the nonstick actually lasts much longer!

My go to pans for frying!

Nice quality pan, however,  the non stick is not so great. I'm having to spray it with oil for no sticking.

Overall quality has gone down. I am sorry that I couldn't give a higher rating. I fried eggs and it got stuck. I wish the manufacturer didn't change the material, it looks also inferior quality- not a very solid material, and non-stick coating also looks inferior to the previous one same brand that we have used for years. Calphalon should do better. I may have to return the product.

Calhalon 8” and 10” pan

I've used the larger pan twice, and when I used a fork to scramble eggs into fried rice the coating scratched. Not sure if it's still ok to use now? Little pan works well for grilled cheese sandwiches but stick to plastic utensils.
