This little fan really blows air quite strong for about 2-3 feet and takes batteries, or you can plug it in to a usb type  a port.

I bought it for in my walker, because when I’m in extreme pain I sweat. It’s a nice size for in the bag on the walker. I can’t get over how strong it is, I loaned it to my pastor when the a/c was having a hard time keeping up with the heat and humidity, in no time he looked cooler. The air flow is perfect. The is only 1 power level but the breeze is just right. I just pop the seat down on my walker and voilà. It cools me down very quickly. I’m going to go to a ballgame tonight, I’ll definitely have it with me. I’m still on the first set of batteries, haven’t plugged it in yet.

The fan is lightweight easy to move around. You can charge it with USB, battery or electric. It isn't bulky so it doesn't take up much room. Fits perfect on my desk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd been looking to replace my older battery-operated fan which hadn't been running as well lately.  When I saw that Honeywell had added one to their Turbo line, my search stopped.  We already have a Honeywell Quietset that we've been very happy with, so I expected the same from the Turbo Portable.  I was not disappointed - it's a great little fan. The airflow is surprisingly strong for such a small fan, and it spreads out really well.  I like how the attached stand has graduated clicks to allow the airflow to be directed at a variety of angles.  It has an included USB cable that can be plugged into a computer or wall adapter instead of batteries.  Since I keep these around to use during power outages, I run them on batteries.  My old fan used D batteries - heavy and sometimes hard to find.  This Honeywell fan takes 4 AA batteries (which we always have on hand at home), and puts out twice as much air as our old fan did.  I'm very satisfied with and impressed by it's performance.

 I’ve found that the fan is significantly more powerful and noticeably louder when using the DC plug; however, while battery power is much weaker, it provides a subtle, quiet airflow that is perfect for use on airplanes. 

Versatile, power and portability or airplane one quirk to note: when using a DC wall plug, the fan occasionally stops randomly; this might be an issue with my specific outlet, but it remains perfectly consistent and reliable when powered via USB or batteries.

Risks / Trade-offs
• Power Variance: Airflow strength drops considerably on battery power; it is best reserved for situations where silence and portability outweigh raw cooling power.

• Electrical Inconsistency: Using a wall adapter may result in intermittent shutdowns compared to the stable performance of the USB connection.

• Battery Consumption: While great for flights, using 4 AA batteries can become expensive over time; rechargeable batteries or a dedicated USB power bank are more cost-effective alternatives.

Versatile personal fan - Surprisingly Powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to get this fan for my husband he is a janitor at a school and needed a small fan to help cool him down while he is working.  I was however disappointed when I turned it on. It only has one speed and it doesn't offer much airflow. I do like that there are multiple ways to power this by battery or electric or USB. And I also like that it can hang around your neck or stand up with the built in stand.
