This is a really fun build! Sometimes the bigger builds can get a bit tedious, but this one was so much fun! I've been a big F1/endurance racing fan for a wile, and when I saw that Lego was putting out a set based on one of my favorite teams, I had to jump on it! Overall a great build. Lots of attention to detail, like the air jacks and suspension and obviously the great livery!  I really had a lot of fun with this set!

Good model to build, but of the three Lego 911s I have this one is larger than the classic 911 and smaller than the GT3RS.  Would have been good if it was the same size as my others, but c’est la vie.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found this a challenging build but so rewarding. It kept me gripped from start to finish. With 1313 pieces , functional steering and independent suspension make it such an impressive piece. I found the downloadable app alongside the instruction booklet so useful as you can see the image in 3d. Myself and my sister in law built this and we had such a good time. I think it appeals to all ages upper teens and adults alike. I love the attention to detail with the stickers they really add to the overall look and aren’t too difficult to apply. This now has pride of place in my collection and looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fantastic bit of kit from Lego, this Porsche 911 is fir age 11+, it has lots of small fiddly bits, we have started to build it, but this is quite complex, but hey I am a woman, my son who is 15 is now Lego deep, it’s fantastic to keep the children entertained for sure, or even adults, and as you can see it’s a working progress still, it has 1313 pieces, it’s very durable as Lego is, it has fantastic detailing and very good price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Lego Porsche 911 GT3 REXY AO racing car complimentary from Influenster in return for my honest review. 

Wow! What a challenging build. The colours in this build are impressive. 

The sticker graphics are brilliant and so creative with the addition of the T-rex. It will be the most stand out addition to the home office Lego display due to the striking vibrancy of the colour. 

Stickers can be a little bit fiddly to apply and sometimes it can enhance or ruin aesthetics of the build if they’re wonky. The green on green stickers were hard to apply when doing some of the build in lower light at night but look seemless once applied. 

The features are amazing with realistic mechanisms such as the retractable air jacks that enhance play with this build. 

It’s a great size boasting over 1300 pieces. I do think this was a harder build than other 11+ builds.

Incredible build

LEGO 42224 is a refined, display-focused set aimed at experienced builders, offering a satisfying, well-structured build with strong mechanical integrity and clean, minimalist aesthetics. While the overall design stands confidently on its own, the upright stand mechanism feels somewhat unnecessary, functioning more as a display enhancement than a structural requirement.

Strong Design, Questionable Need for the Stand

Very cool Lego set, especially if you’ve seen this race car in person at a race. Lots of detail, even with the engine. Highly recommended for the racing enthusiast!

I love this Rexy set! It was so much fun to build although it does become a bit repetitive it’s still fun. I do wish that Lego would just make printed parts though instead of us having to put in all those stickers. Overall tho set is really well put together and the fact that you can see the instructions online in 3D really helps a lot.
