The best so far

I hadn't bought an eye-makeup remover before this, and I have only ever bought this as it is so good. I used to rub my eyes with facial cleanser and it wasn't effective, I didn't get all of my mascara and I would still wake up with panda-eyes the next day. But this changed the game. My eye-makeup (in which I wear primer, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara) will quite literally, wipe off. So easily. I was so impressed the first time I used it I went back and bought another two bottles. It isn't excessively greasy, it feels amazing knowing it is all coming off in a few strokes, and it does what the bottle says down to a T. Fantastic product :)

Very effective at removing all types of eye make up. Word of warning: as this is oil based I would not recommend using it just before re-applying make up. I use at night so my face is ready for the morning make up routine.
Good for liquid eyeliner and waterproof mascara - more effective than most other products I've used but doesn't dry out skin or sting/irritate.

Very effective at removing make up.

I have never used eye make up remover before , i have always been scared to as i have sensitive eyes and skin . Im so glad i got to try this out . Easily removed my waterproof mascara and left my eyes feeling refreshed and un- irritated . My lashes actually feel softer. I would highly recommend . Its super quick to use . No fuss . Shake apply and off the stubborn make up goes. I even apply a little to my lashes when i havent got make up on as i find it refeshing and it makes them softer and so soothing . I will be purchasing more.

Refreshing remover

I have been using this product for years and it is by far the best eye make up remover on the market! The oily consistency means removing even stubborn waterproof mascara is easy and no rubbing is needed. I also think it's great that the packaging is made from 96% recycled products!

Amazing product!

I used to use baby wipes or hot water and a flannel and no matter what I tried I'd always wake up the next day with “Panda eyes”. I saw this advertised and thought it's worth a try even if it doesn't work. It does work! It's really easy to use, isn't messy all you need is cotton pads & if you're reading the reviews to see if you should buy it... you should!

Very effective

OVERALL A GOOD PRODUCT. EFFECTIVE REMOVAL AND COMFORTABLE ON EYELIDS AND LASHES.

I HAVE SPARSE LASHES AND THAT COULD BE WHY THE OIL CAUSES BIT OF BLURRINESS... 

IT MIGHT BE AN IDEA TO RINSE EYES AFTERWARDS, OR RE-WIPE WITH A WATER-DAMP COTTON EYEPAD

SLIGHTLY OILY RESIDUE

This product looks cool with the two tone glittery appearance which mixes when the bottle is tipped. 

It is unscented which I like. It takes a little longer to remove eye makeup than products I have previously used, but it does do the job effectively. 

It definitely has a moisturising effect as it leaves a very light oily film on the skin after use. My skin seems to like this product.

Cool look and moisturising

This product was definitely gentle on my eyes. I am used to getting sore outer corners when removing my ye makeup however this did not happen with this makeup remover! It did however take a bit longer to fully remove all my mascara as opposed to when I use face wipes - its worth it though!!

Great for sensitive eyes

I've tried this eye makeup remover before I wasn't overly impressed, I usually use the Nivea double effect eye makeup remover but that one wasn't in stock so I gave this a go instead. It doesn't remove eye makeup as efficiently as my go to eyemakeup remover.

Okay

I feel compelled to come here to the Nivea page to share my experience. I have used double effect for years to remove my waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Nothing else would take it off with such ease and I recommended it to everyone. Then for the last 2 months I have been having issues with recurring styes which have been horrendously painful and I have looked disgusting. My eyes have also been very dry and itchy. I put it down to mascara at first and replaced it. Then ended up replacing every single makeup product including eyelash curlers and pencil sharpeners. Still getting styes. In different places and both eyes. I finally felt resigned that it must be hormonal. Started omega 3's. Didn't help. By chance I researched this product and lo and behold there has been a reformulation and reading all the reviews here the penny has dropped. Although some of these go back 2 years? I will no longer be using this toxic product and it should be removed from sale. Goodbye Nivea!
