I've always liked the thermoelectric coolers, having used the "full-sized" cooler and the 6-pack cooler for many years.  Bought this as a replacement for the big Igloo unit (finally wore it out and wife wanted something without years of staining).
This unit is large enough to hold a full size gallon of milk and other stuff (dozen eggs, etc.)  But it doesn't overwhelm the back seat like the 40 gallon cooler.
The AC adapter is well worth the money to pre-cool, use as mini-fridge.  Great for party time - cooled drinks without the melted ice slop.

Koolatron Kargo Kooler - Big, but not TOO big

Looks at several models, and chose this one on the basis of several positive reviews. WE. LOVE. IT. Spent the extra money to purchase and adaptor so we could keep it running inside our hotel room when a fridge wasn't available. Was even able to keep ice most frozen by placing it right under the cooling vent. 

Don't know how it'll hold up over time, but we think the product is well designed and FAR superior to just a regular ice chest. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Upgraded our cooler with this one and very pleased with the coolness that it dose and the amount of food we get in. Plus we sometimes use it like a fridge in our suv. Great product. Only thing wish it would come with a adapter to plug into house out let like our old cooler did.

I bought this cooler for a friend. She uses it on her boat and she is very satisfied with it. The only minor problem is that the delivery did not arrive on the scheduled date but a few days later...

Koolatron P65

Door hinge pin snapped first time opened. Purchase was made while traveling so we did plug it in for the 7 day trip. Cooled as expected, but the additional adapter we paid for was not included at pick up. Overall disappointing

Broke at first touch...

This cooler works well. Replaces the need for ice, and is quite efficient considering the thin walls.

There is no on-off switch, and the latch is a little wobbly. Not bad, not great.

The customer service is terrible. The only person who will answer an email or pick up the phone is the guy in the warehouse. If you have any questions or require service, you may never get a response. I have been trying for almost 3 weeks.

Good cooler, terrible service

It has been plugged in for 24 hours on cool and it has done nothing. Didn't try the heater. I wanted it because it stood on its side but the closure mechanism is too weak to handle it in a bumpy / rocky environment. The fan is cheap   I think you need to load it with items that are already cold.

Not a cooler. Maybe a maintainer

This cooler worker great for the first 3 days of our camping trip. But on day 4 the cooler stopped cooling and the entire contents of the cooler spoiled. Returned to Walmart as soon as we returned from our trip.

Koolatron Kargo Kooler

very VERY poor quality.  doors swing open and closed but do not latch shut.  Not damaged in rout, just bad assembly or defective parts or something.   Going to send it back.
