This is typical lower price point Singer machine. I just finished sewing a long formal gown with “fussy” fabric and the machine performed beautifully. This is my first machine with a drop-in, visible bobbin. I like it. It also is very easy to thread as it is designed so you do not have to actually put the thread through any holes. Good design. If you have used another Singer, this was intuitive to use. I was sewing in five minutes. I did order an invisible zipper foot from the internet and it was easy to switch out. I only used straight stitches and zigzag, nothing fancy. 
I would recommend this machine, but buy a carrying case to go with it. It is portable with a handle on top. I did not want the blush color, but it was the only color in stock that I could pick up the same day. It is growing on me, not a distraction.

Excellent sewing machine! I love it! I've been sewing for a very long time, like 50 years, and this is my first NEW machine. I have always loved the Singer brand but have owned other brands for various reasons. This is just a sweet, quiet, nice little friend. I'm so happy I bought it. ❤️

Very Nice Machine

I love the color of my new sewing machine.  It was relatively easy to set up with a few minor issues.  One, I couldn't get it to turn on %26 realized I didn't have the plug which attaches to machine pushed in enough.  Second, I couldn't figure out how to thread the needle according to the instructions.  But since I had already had a sewing machine in the past %26 knew how to thread manually, that's what I did.  The stitches are beautiful %26 even.  I'm happy with the purchase %26  I know I'm going to enjoy using it!

Sew Happy With Purchase

The first time I ordered this sewing machine, it had a defective pedal. I returned it to my local Walmart and then reordered the machine. I received it in a day. Second time was a charm for me. You can download the manual online from singer but there are so many how to videos online that you really don't need it. It is very simple and user friendly for someone who hasn't used a sewing machine in about 30 years. I have already used it to do some alterations on a few shirts. It handled everything fine and the stitches were nice and clean on both sides of the fabric. The machine isn't very loud and I found it easy to control the speed with the foot pedal.  I also love the color. It is a lovely shade of pink and it makes me happy looking at it. I got this machine on sale for 130 dollars and it came with some nice accessories as well. I am very happy with my purchase. I love the drop in bobbin with the clear cover so you can see how much thread you have left on the bobbin. I look forward to practicing with the one step button hole feature next before I make some pillow covers as my first big project.  I'm so happy to get back into sewing as a hobby and this machine has all the features I will need.

Nice machine with many good features for the money

I have used a sewing machine for years so that it was easy for me to figure out a new machine.  Having said that, I did download the user's manual, and it was around $12 to print.  Good old days of getting the manual with the machine is over.  Best to look at the manual first.  I try to save money on sewing, although it is now an expensive hobby, so I'm not interested in spending a lot on a machine.  My last White machine was reliable for years and before that, I actually saw a relative had a treadle Singer machine and I learned on that.  I sew baby and children's clothes and clothes for me.  Also good for simple repairs like patches and hems as well as cushion covers and table clothes.
Nothing to do with the machine, but they delivered it and left it in the entrance hallway downstairs and thankfully someone got worried about that and brought it to my door.

Working well for me and easy to use.

Very nice little machine I'm getting back into seeing (basically reteaching myself everything ) and this machine is easy to work with instructions are beginner friendly and I love the blush pink color!

Beautiful and quality machine. The work area available on this machine is great plus the bobbin winder is metal. And the bobbin is drop in style versus front loading. Much quieter motor than my last machine.

Beauty and quality

I was excited when I saw this special edition Singer. I sold a much older Singer when I moved. Mostly I need it for hemming and repairs. For the cost I could have my own machine again instead of paying such a high price for it to be done. Everything is much easier to use. I'm very happy with it.

Pretty user friendly,  even for a novice sewer. The stitch selection %26 length could use more clarification in the instructions. Only had a Quick Start guide %26 didn't include a manual. Had to order the manual seperately which was an additional $15. It should have been included with the machine. I've been sewing with the machine %26 am keeping it. Really like the ability to carry it with me since it's really light, but definitely not made near as well as the older metal Singer models.

Good machine for beginners. Instructions could have more information. It's plastic so would not take much abuse but is light enough to carry to classes etc.

Good machine for beginning sewers

Straight stitch was terrible. Every couple of inches it kept looping. Tried adjusting tension. It did not resolve the problem. Had to return the product. Very disappointed. Looks beautiful. Lightweight. But performance is poor.
