I bought it mostly for snacks and breakfasts for work and for that the containers are absolutely perfect and I will probably buy one more set. You have to really make sure that the lid is aligned when closing it, so if you are using a proper lunch bag where the container can stand, then it can also be used for soup. Microwaving works but the container gets a little soft to the touch, so short time is ok. For my needs perfect and you get a nice set for a very good price. Definitely recommend!

I have not actually opened them to use them yet I just got them a couple of hours ago. Though they are Rubbermaid and they are known for standing for quality. And the different configurations that I chose I'm sure will be wonderful - especially the cups with the screw top lids with ridges. I can't wait to have fun with them all! I believe I purchased five different bundles of them. If my refrigerator or my place isn't sorted out (at least  a wee bit) after this there's just no hope... however I think there will be hope even if it's just a bit moving forward with a lovely product! 😊

RUBBERMAID HITS IT AGAIN!🥰🍣🎯

My boyfriend uses the smaller containers in his lunch for work! He puts chicken salad for sandwiches and pears or peaches in them! The taller ones work for storing the canned peaches/pears in the fridge.

 Dishwasher safe. I like I can stack them together in the cupboard. Definitely can store all kinds of different foods in them. Microwave safe for reheating leftover potatoes and such!

These Rubbermaid food storage containers are sturdy and very useful for storing leftovers.   I have several large containers but nothing suitable for smaller portions of leftovers, and these are perfect for that.  The main reason I purchased these is because of the twist off lid, they are so much easier to work with than the snap on lids and the price at Walmart can't be beat.

Love that you can stack them in your fridge and they "snap" onto each other so you save space in the fridge.  The lids are screwed on so no spills if dropped by the kids!

A great way to store left overs especially ones with a liquid consistency because the lids screw on. The 2 sizes accommodate small amount and large amounts of food/soups/etc

This set of Rubbermaid storage containers sells for a great price for a quality product. Lids screw on easily and containers don't leak. Freezer safe. I bought 2 sets and gave one to my daughter.

These containers are perfect for people who have trouble opening and closing snap lids They do not retain the smell of food or dish washing liquid. My grandson is 8 and takes them to school for fruits or other things and has not complained once!

Easy to use lids, that don't leak, use these for snacks and lunch items such as soup.  The container is easy to stack on top of each other too, saving space in the fridge.

Easy to use, well worth the money

The first photo I added to this review is from the listing.  You can clearly see the ribbing on the containers.  I have an older rubbermaid blue container with the ribbing and wanted more like it.  This style is easier for my old arthritic hands to open.  The next photo shows what I received.  The containers are smooth.  I would not have bought these.  I needed the ribbed kind.  Not happy
