I owned this pan for 9 years until the surface finally gave out, but used it a lot.
I considered other similar pans, but finally decided to go with a quality product.
I love the surface, the temperature control, and the fact that the legs fold and can be placed inside the pan to save storage space. 
The pan is finished beautifully on all sides.  I would recommend this pan.

Used it for first time over weekend. One of the nicest features is how it cooks evenly. Would not purchase this from the selling point of being a Foldaway as you still have the lid you have to do something with, but the unit works well and is way less expensive through Walmart than through other locations I saw online.

I'm so pleased with this Presto Electric Skillet!. Before buying it I read most of the comment by
other owners. This was certainly a good choice and so easy to use, clean,and put away because it can be folded. It cooks food evenly and well, I notice that some people said the lid should have had
an air vent, its the corner hole for your utensil it serves well as a vent which is better, this should be mentioned in the description too.I cooked a whole five pound bag of homefries potatoes with onions in this skillet and with plenty more room to spare. I truly love,love this skillet why pay for a more expensive electric skillet because of the name when this one is so reasonably priced and work so beautifully well. I ordered two on Nov.1,13 and received it Nov.6,13 and cooked in one on Nov.7,13 and was so very pleased, and you will be too!

Every kitchen need this.

We had a Presto electric frying pan previously that we needed to replace. I wanted to get the same kind, but saw good reviews for this one. Glad I tried it. I love the pour spout and the fact that you can detach the pan from the stand to wash it. We made a good choice with this one. :)

Great Pan!

I bought this specific model skillet for my daughter as a gift. She saw mine and wanted one. I have had this model for several years and LOVE it. The handle/base stores inside the skillet for storage and clean up is so easy. It has a pour spout/vent on one corner that also allows a cooking utensil to to rest there with the lid on, keeping your counter clean. The large clear lid is easy to see through and can be stored upside down on top of the skillet . I had to order this online since I could not find it in the Walmart stores but I used the ship to store option and it was actually quicker and easier than home shipping.
Definitely recommend this skillet!

Love this skillet.

Love that it is submersible and dishwasher safe. The removable handles and base, make for easier cleaning. Many people complain about the cord being to short. I myself did not have that problem where I use it. But I think it is to large for everyday frying. There is only 2 of us. But it would be great for frying large quantities of chicken.

This skillet was purchased mainly because of the excellent reviews. I had a similar one that did not heat evenly, and the reviews sounded like this one would be better in that regard. I have only used it twice, but the pancakes and toasted cheese sandwiches all were perfect. It is very large, and I find I do need to take it apart to fit in my cupboard, but that has not been any problem. The interior finish is excellent, and the pan is very easy to clean when it is removed from the base. However, I would never risk ruining the finish by putting it in the dishwasher. I did not rate durability because I have only had it two weeks!

Presto skillet meets my needs perfectly.

This skillet is easy to use. It heats up very quick, easy to clean and store. I have only used it 3 times so far, but I've only had it 2 weeks.  I am hoping Presto has maintained there quality over the years. My mom had one of there skillets. It was from the late 60's. It still worked a few years ago, only reason I don't use it us because she over cleaned the non stick inside!

Presto electric skillet

This is my second one.  The first lasted maybe a year and a half before the non-stick became very-stick.  In fairness, I think it was how we treated it.  We didn't use metal utensils, but we did clean it with the same thing we wash all our other dishware with:  scotch-brite-type pads.  I tend to think this lead to the deterioration of the non-stick surface.  We really like everything else about this item, thus our re-purchase.

Presto Foldaway Skillet

I was so excited to get this item. It appeared to be a good value but after using it 2 maybe 3 times the "easy clean finish" deteriorated. Maybe it was just this one, but I don't recommend it for that reason. However, it was nice to be able to remove the pan from the heating element and wash it.
