It was pre seasoned and it worked very well! Nothing stuck to the pan, even when I used it to scramble eggs! I keep oil in it afterwards and do not rinse with soap per the directions. Love it!

I yes this on my glass top stove. Was scared at first, but my fried chicken and later shrimp came out soo crispy and delicious! I even used it in my oven for cornbread… Wow

Love this pot!

I was looking to replace cast Iron lost in a house fire. Needing to save money on replacing things was necessary. I thought I would get this and then replace it later. It turned out to be a great skillet.  I have since bought others. I loved my Lodge, but this is great.

i purchased tbis lil 8inch cast iron skillet for making my cornbread only. It's perfect in every aspect one would want in a cast iron skillet. love it a excellent product

I wanted a smaller size for cooking vegetables, so this works out perfectly. Love the brand! Have a huge size also in the same brand! Reasonably priced!

Priced right!

This is a nice size to sit on the small burner and to be able to put into the small oven I use.  It is not nearly as heavy as the larger one I own, and my only issue with it is that it is a bit rougher (not as smooth) as my other, which is a Lodge brand.  It was pre-seasoned and I like that also, though I probably will have to season again before long, as I tend to clean them with more vigor than they like.

Great for small foods and putting into small oven

I love cooking in cast iron and this skillet seems as good as the rest, my only problem with it was the "seasoning" flaked of in my eggs the second time it was used.  I was cooking scrambled eggs, I DIDN'T had it on a red hot burner.  But once that thin fake coating was gone from the button, is been great

I'm not sure whether it was the manufacturer or whether it was the store.But someone put a sticker right in the middle of the inside of the skillet, instead of on the bottom, and it caused everything to stick in my muscular, I've had to burn it out of you and green it down, and do it all again myself for a skillet that was supposed to already be seasoned.I live in that.I'm real happy with it.I call them bread was awesome.Just stuck

DO NOT BUY- terrible!
The cooking surface is like fine sandpaper. It is not smooth. I seasoned this product before using 4 times in a row. It did no good.  I then cooked an egg and it stuck like glue.
    In my opinion it is not possible to create a stick-free surface even after years of use.

I had to return this because the handle broke off in shipping.  I would not buy another because I would be affraid the handle would break off while I'm using it.
