This fan has helped keep us cool on hot days! We don't have AC, so this fan has been a great alternative to a regular fan. Adding the ice paks was a perfect thing when the inside of the house got up to 85  degrees. We have 2 large rooms next to each other, so it was not big enough to cool off both rooms, but it cooled us off while sitting on the couch (where it was blowing).  It is quiet and comes with a remote. Just set the timer to remind yourself to refill the water or to switch out the ice paks for these long summer days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what took me so long to order this! My bedroom is always warm in the evenings and this cools it off immediately. I use distilled water in it just so it doesn't get ruined with scale since Las Vegas has such “hard” water. Also, even though there is water, it does not turn your room into a swamp. I highly recommend this unit.

Best fan ever!

I love how quiet and powerful this fan is. I am one of those people who sleep with a fan on no matter how cold it is. It's not big and gaudy and fits perfectly in small spaces. I'm definitely buying 1 for each room in my house. I love that you can yurn the screen off so no lights are shining when I'm sleeping. I'm excited to use the ice and water this summer. We have a bird so keeping him warm and happy means we have a happy house. I keep mine on low and can feel it across the room. The remote I keep under my pillow so I don't have to get up at night to adjust any settings.

This is my new best friend!!

This is more of a dehumidifier/humidifier. It has a door in the back of the machine. You can open up and gently squeeze the side to take the door off to remove and add the little ice jug/cubes that comes with it. You should have the door on when adding water to it. It has 3 speeds of ..1...2...and 3.... The Fan doesnt go very fast.... But fast enough to keep you cool..... I believe adding ICE along with watet and the ice jug it has could help put out MORE cold air. I like the idea of it rotating.. For me ... It was a good buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love these, I ordered 2 for my home.  They are space saving and look nice. They put out cool air without the ice packs and are enough to keep small rooms cool. However they leak.  Have to put a towel down. Cant put on carpet.

Great except for leaking.

Honestly impressed with how good this little thing works! It does get cold but I live in Colorado where it's super dry. We also have a large swamp cooler so this just helps keep the air flowing in our bedroom. The little cool packs do make a difference I use two at a time and keep the other two in the freezer to switch out. I keep it on all night and switch to the normal fan setting during the day. Usually only refilling to the fill line before bed. It doesn't blow super hard that's be my only complaint but it still works and is quiet in the night when trying to sleep! Good purchase and over all satisfied.

It works!

These are suppose to be A water cooler fan? ""Will not cool down  A Hot room" says the "warning " instructions of %2311!!!! Then whats the point if it having a compartment in its base for ICE blocks to blow Cold Air , if this wont work ???? living in a room without central aircinditioning , a fan such as this for $109 SHOULD BE made to cool DOWN any room. i feel i wasted my money on a product i thought WOULD WORK.
PLUS only 3 speeds, it ahould be higher. i am not happy with this tower Fan.

Overall the fan works well and looking forward to trying cooling with the ice packs provided as it gets warmer this summer. Unfortunately, the remote was not included in the box so not able to utilize that feature of the product. Also, the noise of the buttons when turning it on and changing settings is a little loud.

Good but disappointed the remote was missing

Yes it's quiet but no it does not cool your room with the ice packs or without it. The settings are way too low. Setting three feels like setting 2 and setting 2 feels like setting one  it's crazy how dissatisfied I am with this a regular tower fan blows more air than this

Don't waste your money

Does not work well, not worth the money. Doesn't blow cold even with cold water and ice pouches.. also doesn't blow as hard as it should. Wouldn't recommend
