I bought this to cut shelf paper for my kitchen cabinets.  It did the job well! The price was very reasonable.  I believe that this little knife is going to be very useful when doing arts and crafts!

Great little knife

X-Acto has been around for a long time for a reason; a good quality product.  I use mine on my art table for cutting out 3d drawings instead of usings scissors which can be cumbersome and impossible to maneuver around tight corners or cutting sections within the drawing itself.

I needed a spare knife so that there was always one in our kitchen junk/utility drawer. It's better or at least prettier than the one we've had for years.

Works well for personal projects but be careful the blade does tend to fall out and it's a little concerning but works well.

You can't beat this little tool. Once upon a time, I had a crazy dream that I wanted to make/create my own backsplash with strips of thick aluminum, sheet metal, and a few other odds/ends. So, I bought this X-Acto knife. It cuts and trims beautifully, and clean without that last little bit having to be pulled or broken off unevenly.  The added safety cap is a plus. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think it could have a better grip surface to it. Although it's textured, it still slid in my hands a bit. Altogether I was pleased with the purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed to cut adhesive Velcro to cat proof some cabinets as the original was way to wide without cutting in half- poor knife came apart on the second Velcro but made it work. Essentially a one time use - poor quality item
