I did so much research, was looking for a watch (to replace my Apple Watch) that I can use for HR and other metrics for cycling.  This is the best pick!!  Absolutely blows the Apple Watch away (and I'm a huge Apple fan!!).  Apple's watch won't even sync to my AppleTV to use with Zwift.  The Garmin syncs immediately.  For watches, I'm Garmin alll the way.  No more Apple watches.

I upgraded recently to the forerunner 570 after having the Vicoactive 5 for a few years. I wanted more stats on my running and the training features. I'm glad I did and I picked out the pink one as well to match my kit. I don't regret it for a second.

I just switched from an Apple Watch to a garmin and I've really had no complaints and this was given as a gift. I love how it breaks down my sleep from each night and I really enjoy seeing the training recovery/readiness after working out. I especially enjoy the battery life of the watch and how fast it charges back up. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone really. There's so many different activities it can track including fishing. Not anything I've seen Apple Watch be able to track. Im overall very satisfied with the watch.

Glad I made the switch

After owning an Epix 2, I decided to "downsize" to the Forerunner 570 42mm for the lighter package. Most notable, I can wear it to measure my sleep which I couldn't with the larger Epix. I also find the graphics brighter but perhaps my Epix 2 had degraded.

Positive Migration to the Forerunner 570

I’ve had this watch for about a month it’s has motivated me to run and lift!! I bought it for the Garmin coach and the recovery aspect of the watch. As of now I’m enjoying the coach but I wish the hrv monitor was more solid it is a hit or miss some nights ! Over all great watch.

Great watch

I recently switched from the Apple Watch to the Garmin Forerunner 570, and the difference has been impressive—especially for someone focused on running.

The biggest upgrade for me is the battery life. With the Apple Watch, daily charging was unavoidable, which got annoying over time. The Forerunner 570, on the other hand, easily lasts 9–10 days on a single charge, which feels like a game changer.

Another standout feature is Garmin Coach. It keeps me consistent with my workouts and provides structured guidance for race preparation. It genuinely feels like having a personal coach on your wrist, helping you stay disciplined and improve steadily.

The display is also excellent. The AMOLED screen is crystal clear, and brightness is more than sufficient even under direct sunlight, making it easy to glance at stats during runs without any struggle.

The only downside I’ve noticed so far is the charging design. I wish it had a more convenient dock-style or pin-based system like the Apple Watch, allowing the watch to rest horizontally while charging. The current setup works, but it’s not as seamless.

Overall, I’m very happy with the switch. If battery life and serious training features matter to you, the Forerunner 570 is a fantastic choice.

Switched from Apple Watch to Garmin Forerunner 570

There are so many great features! I love the battery life, large display, and running data. I like the morning and evening reports and body battery measurements. My only complaint is that after wearing an Apple Watch for many years, I can't respond to texts on my Garmin. I was used to being at work, reading a text and reacting or using my finger to reply on my watch. Also, I have to use Duo with my work and it sends an alert to approve when I log in to computers across campus and I used to just tap my watch to approve without needing my phone with me. So my only complaint with Garmin are some of the day-to-day communication features.

Going from a Forerunner 245 to this has been a huge change. The bright screen is fantastic for seeing data easily during a run, and the additional features like training readiness are so cool! However, ever since turning it on from the box, the screen has glitched and sometimes freezes like that. I’ve done updates and have not been able to fix it fully. Has mad interval runs difficult when the screen looks scrambled and is stuck that way :( it was happening frequently but has slowed down in frequency. Hoping this is a bug that updates will fix!

A great upgrade!

I bought this about a month ago. So far, it's exactly what I needed. I'm coming from the Fenix 7 Sapphire Solar. While that was good, I need a 42mm face and Fenix no longer offers that, and the MIP display just isn't what I needed. The Forerunner 570 is perfect. The only reason I rate 4 instead of 5 is that the paint chips easily. Like very easily. However, this is just battle scars I guess.

Great Features and bright display

I transitioned up from a Phoenix, six, and it has taken me a bit of time to get used to the differences. I have found the watch face, interfaces, bulky  The graphics are excellent, and I suspect that with another couple of visits to the online manual, I will be extremely pleased .

Not a smooth transition but good technology

I got this 2 weeks ago and hate it! Way too confusing.  No such thing as just pressing one buton to get something done, everything is a project! Doesn't record my sleep some nights, does other nights! Manual is the size of a Barbie Dolls book! Unfortunately my husband threw the box away or I would return it in a heartbeat! Certainly paid WAY too much!
