Looking for some new quick snacks for my little one so tried these out. First of all, it comes in a very small bag so definitely wasn't worth what I paid. Secondly, the texture was hard almost like a crouton! Third, the taste was terrible. It left almost a chemical aftertaste like I was eating a sharpie or like nail polish remover. My little one did not like this!

gross little hard bites with overpowering cinnamon taste and for 1 single baggie 36g ( a handful of them) its not worth money and looks more like pet treats.

Hello,

I am writing to report a serious safety incident involving your product, Simply Gourmet Mini Oat Bites – Banana Bread.

My 15-month-old son choked while eating this product and required immediate intervention to clear his airway. The texture is extremely firm and dense—comparable to a hard pet treat—and does not soften appropriately in the mouth. This created a clear and dangerous choking hazard.

Following the choking episode, he vomited, and the situation was highly distressing.

Given that this product could reasonably be consumed by young children, I am very concerned that its texture is not appropriate or safe for this age group.

I would like to know:

Whether you have received similar choking reports

What safety testing has been conducted regarding texture and age suitability

What steps you are taking to address this risk

I am also requesting appropriate compensation for this incident and the distress caused.

I have retained the packaging and can provide lot number and purchase details if required.

I expect a prompt and serious response to both the safety concern and resolution.
