Percolators make the best coffee. but if yours comes out bitter,  it's the coffee itself. it's probably stale or old. That said, this sweet little electric percolator makes very hot good coffee fast! I love everything about it, especially the smaller elegant size and the price was perfect for a lady on fixed income.  And yes so far it's made bitter coffee but I threw that coffee out and bought fresh roasted beans and coarse ground and made very good coffee.  I highly recommend this electric percolator coffee maker!  It also fits perfectly on  my very small counter space.

I will never go back to drip coffee makers again.  No more paper filters, no more cleaning the coffee maker with white vinegar and water solution which takes about 1.30 hours for the cleaning process.  And the coffee tastes so much better.  One more thing the price is affordable.

Percolator go get one!

So happy I purchased this. A lot better than old one that was glass and got cold. Coffee tastes amazing in this and so fast. And keeps it warm. I love it!

I liked this percolator fine until the knob on top broke and couldn't be replaced because I had it only 6 months. The little knob on top is plastic and cracked from the heat in such a short time. It needs to be made of glass. This was the second one in a year.

Plastic knob cracks after 6 months

I had this for a few weeks and it started leaking. I never over filled it. One day it just stopped being able to hold water without leaking.

Coffee tasted good but started leaking

Taste of coffee is terrible. Tried different brands of coffee. I need to return this product, but am having problems.
