Simple AF to use. This is for 1-2 people. I used a standard 1 cup measuring scoop and the rice came out mega fluffy. 1 cup rice and 1 cup water is 2 cups finished rice. It’s perfect. If you’re using more rice you’ll overflow meaning you got the wrong size machine. This thing was super affordable and it’s made as a set it and forget it piece. It’s not durable to drop down the stairs and keep working, but let’s be real… are you actually requiring a rice cooker to do that? Care for it and it’ll last a long time. It’s been the case for my aroma kettle as well. It’s not fancy but it does the job well.  Definitely recommend it if you’re cooking for 1-2 people.

Btw, the slider button is better than some digital pad imo.

The 304 Stainless Steel inner pot on these is definitely worth the additional cost above the cheaper "non-stick" surface of the less expensive models.   After a couple years of use, the "non-stick" surface starts to flake off - and you end up eating it!  Considering that these cookers last 10 or 15 years, you'll only pay about $1/year more for the Stainless model.
Food-prep surfaces in restaurants are made from 304 S.S.  Shouldn't the ones in your kitchen be that quality also?

This is my favorite kitchen item. We use it constantly to make either oatmeal or rice, and it's just the right size for two people. Sometimes I'll use it to make soup, too. Aroma makes quality items that really last!

Thank you Aroma for that. I tried this cooker and I added 1/2 cup of rice and couple hand full of broccoli and frozen vegetables mix in, with a little bit of water. Next time I'd put my alarm on to like 15 minutes and If the rice is cooked, I'd just turn it off from the wall before the automatic turn off, so to avoid over cooking. Cute nice size for home or for the workplace.

Aroma 6 cup is so simple to use, and makes perfect rice every time. I feel much better cooking in the safe nontoxic stainless steel pot. It is easy clean up too.

Great rice cooker

Cooks evenly.  Doesn’t spill over.  Stainless steel very easy to clean.  Like it more than my old “non-stick”.

Love that this is a stainless steel pot which is nice and heavy and much healthier than the non stick aluminum pan.  Love that the handles have billed on both sides where you can place the rice spoon into it and not need a spoon rest to lay the spoon down during use.  The only thing that would make this a 5 star is if it came with a steamer tray and the price is $10 less for the size that it is. Other than that, great quality and style. Definitely recommend this rice cooker.

One week of use, the warm light cover was broken and fell off by itself. It always overcooks the rice. Not recommend!
