Upon opening the box she was ecstatic with the bright colors and size of the house. The design is great and easy to use while playing with any size of Barbie. After use for a couple weeks the Barbie swing is her favorite part of the house. The accessories provided are a added plus and can be used over and over for many different imaginative stories. I highly recommend for any young child in your life.

It is set up with a flowing floor plan that includes all parts of a home.  The house is brightly colored and has a lot of details throughout with picture backgrounds everywhere.  There are lots of sweet accessories included.

It is big enough to have a lot to do and pretend without needing to reserve half her bedroom like a full size house would be. I do like that it folds too but that is actually the biggest complaint area - it is very flimsy and falls apart easily while trying to close it. Overall I really like all of the features and accessories. My daughter will play with this for years.

Great Barbie house

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This large vacation house has it all-6 different fully furnished play areas including the familiar kitchen, living room, bedroom, etc. It also has a very cute party room. Best of all, it folds for storage. It doesn't come with the dolls and does require some assembly. My 4 and 8 year old granddaughters love it.

A wonderful gift for my granddaughters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barbie vacation house will be a forever staple in any girls list of favorite toys. My 5 year old girls play with this daily! They host pretend birthday parties w/ their favorite dolls and serve tea and bake cupcakes in the lovely pieces the house comes with (blue cups, pink plates, a birthday cake that attaches to any of the tabletops) and the kitchen has a neat oven door they can open, along with a microwave. The biggest hit was the side swing that you can manually swing or slide up and down from first floor to second. They love taking turns loading things in the closet, and hanging their doll clothes on the two hangers that are also provided. This is countless hours of wonderful play, and my girls are in love! It only took about 25 mins to put together, I would recommend sticking the stickers on first before attaching all the parts of the house, but either way - easy assembly.

Best Vacation Ever! Girls are in Love!

Just got this for Christmas! We got it all set up and realized one chair has an extra short leg!! The others have at least one bent leg! How do I go about getting replacement chairs?!

Love it, despite manufacturing error

Mattel Creations

Asked family to buy this for my daughters for Christmas. We put it together and it almost immediately collapsed. It is now just consistently in pieces and will likely go in the trash as I can't return it. Noticed at other retailers there are similar one star reviews so it seems to be a common problem. I paid almost the same price for the full Barbie dreamhouse so definitely seems to be overpriced, especially for the poor quality.
