Better than what I expected. I got this just to amp up my Great Value Iced Coffee drinks but it does so much more. This will puree frozen fruit and mix everything inside one cup which means less dishes to wash. The two different speeds are both powerful. I rarely have to use the higher speed. Takes one minute to make home made whipped cream by whipping up heavy cream. Easy to clean. The bottom piece twists off and easily twists back on. I use mine every single day. You think those Starbucks coffees are great? For less money I can make an even better tasting one with Great Value Mocha or Caramel iced coffee, a little  bit of heavy cream and a some caramel or chocolate or coffee flavored ice cream. My husband likes fresh strawberry and banana shakes. Fresh tomato soup. Basically anything you can think of, you can do with this.

Great for smashing beans

This is the best hand mixer I've purchased.  It well made not plasticy. Super powerful with 2 speeds. I put it on low, that's how powerful it is. Perfect to puree friuts, ice, milkshakes with bananas. Great purchase.  Higly recommended.

Works good !

I love the simplicity and how small it is to store. I love how the bottom part unscrews to be put in dishwasher. It does the job to make smoothies including crushing ice. I feel like it is a little low on power. I have to use it for about 10 minutes to really grind everything up for the smoothie. By that time it is hot to the touch. I think my former immersion blender was stronger, but I don't remember the brand. Overall I am still happy with this one and use it all the time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seems a little on the flimsy side but works well and cleans up quickly.  The only complaint I have is the discharge slots are a little in the small side and food sometimes gets stuck and need to be removed. I would buy again for basic home use.
