This extra strength formula has the power of 5 stain removers in one convenient gel to penetrate the toughest dried on stains. OxiClean uses oxygen and enzymes activated by air and water to penetrate and eliminate stubborn dried-on stains. Applying OxiClean directly onto a stain initiates a unique action powered by oxygen. Simultaneously, the 5 powerful stain removers each target different types of stains to lift food stains from fabric, dissolve and trap grease and oil, bind to dirt and soils to suspend and rinse them away, target protein stains like grass and blood and help break down food thickeners such as those found in ice cream. I still like how well the stain remover works but I dislike the dispenser.  I much prefer the old plunger/push dispenser.  I was easier to use and better for using with arthritic hands.  The new stick is to hard to squeeze to get a significant amount of gel.  Bottom line, I dislike the new package.

The old product and design was a lifesaver when I had my first kid. The new design ruined it. The cap is designed to be impossible to grab, especially if your hands are wet. The gel ends up all over it too after scrubbing, so now you're trying to grab a slippery cap with gel residue. Eventually the cap became so hard to grab that trying to pull it off popped the whole lid off, which dumped gel all over my hands and clothes. I literally just threw away the rest of my stick because I *could not* get the lid off without the top coming with it. Worst redesign of a product I've ever seen. Never been so angry at a product. Do not buy.

The new design makes it unusable

I've been using this for years and have been happy but I don't think I'll buy anymore of this new kind.  It's hard to apply and doesn't work as well.  Disappointed!

don't like

The oxi clean gel left a stain that is 20 times worse than the stain I was trying to remove.  I've washed it multiple times, no dryer. Rinsed with high pressure hose. It is ruined.

This ruined my tshirt

I am very disappointed in the new formula of OxiClean. I have used the 
I have been using the Gel Stick for many years & always kept extra on hand because it works so well. One wash with OxiClean "Gel Stick" and the stains are gone.
The new Gel formula has changed to "ULTTA CONCENTRATED GEL" (it is now a "CONSENTRATED FORMULA") Not worth purchasing.  After 3 washings the stains are untouched.

If I could give it "0" stars I would

I have been using Oxi Clean Gel Remover for years!! Love the product! 
BUT the new bottle is awful!! It does not dispense anywhere near as easily as the original bottle. The gel is very hard to control. You get way too much gel or nothing at all!
Please go back to the old design!

PLEASE PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD BOTTLE

This WAS my go-to to get stains out. 
I had stains on 4 cotton sweatshirt items and they are RUINED. Two were pricy and can’t be replaced. 
The stains came out- and I was left a set in ring in their place. The gray pieces had moisturizer and body lotion on them. Two white items had a few small stains from cutting fruit and kitchen prep work. They were treated well before 7 days. 
Oh, and did I mention the new packaging sucks?

Mr. Manufacturer: YOU RUINED A GREAT THING

Used on a grease spot on a shirt.  Followed direction to a T.  Took out most of the grease but the entire load of laundry picked up the smell of the Oxiclean.  Not a nice smell.  Washed again immediately and still stinks.

Smell is too strong, not amazingly effective

I have used oxi Max force spray and the oxi max force gel stick for so many years. I’m a religious customer!! But I can promise I will sadly not buy another max force gel stick after the new packaging. The lid is so hard to get off. Twice now, the top of the gel stick has got stuck in the lid and gel spilled out everywhere when I got it open. It’s not user friendly at all. So unfortunate, I have used the gel stick since its debut!

New packaging is awful

This has been my go-to stain product for years but I will no longer buy it. As others have mentioned, when they changed the design of the applicator (which is horrible now), they must have changed the product itself too. It doesn’t work as good, and worse, it’s actually RUINED 4 clothing items by taking out or changing the color. The material is nothing weird—a sweatshirt and baseball pants. This was one of the few products that could get stains out of my son’s white baseball pants, and I used to recommend to everyone. But now I have 3 pairs of baseball pants that have been ruined by this product.

Bad changes

The new packaging on the oxiclean gel, took away the spring that allowed the used to dab the product on the stain. Instead the user has to squeeze the bottle. With the smaller bottle & increased plastic coating, I find the bottle hard to squeeze. The older one gets, strength in hands becomes less. Not user friendly.
