I was a bit skeptical about a brand I never heard of but I am glad I gave Fotile a chance and I am not regretting it all.  First of all, customer service was really great.  I spoke and text messaged with Jeffrey and he made sure the vent would fit by asking me to take pictures and taking measurements.  Customer service also help schedule someone to come and remove my old under cabinet microwave and correctly install the new Fotile vent.  If you speak Cantonese, and you live in the NY, NJ area, I would recommend getting Mr. Ming.  Mr. Ming was very precise and took a lot of measurements to ensure it was installed correctly.  You can really see the vent working and pulling all the fumes and oil in.  Thank you Fotile.

Best range hood

The innovative “filtering” system works great, capturing oil off the fume and collecting it in the pans. 
I had been concerned about the 800 CFM exceeding the standard 400 CFM rate of air evacuation, but noted nothing amiss for my 3000-ft-sq house even when running the exhaust at that rate for extended periods. Great!

Strong, sleek range hood.

This hood sucks smoke better than any hood I've ever had. When it turns on the glass keeps the smoking from just rising to my ceiling. It's like a commercial hood. Anything I throw at it it handles. All six burners on cooking and sauteeing , it handles. Clean air and no smoke.

Most powerful

It's not too noisy, which I really like. The touch buttons are easy to use, and the lights are bright. It looks modern and works great for daily cooking.

Great addition to open kitchen

I ended up buying 3 of these vents (myself, my parents, and a vacation home) because they are THAT efficient and easy to use. quiet and powerful range hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The second Fotile hood we purchased, which has very strong suction, so when we moved into our new house, we chose the same brand again. This time, it's the upgraded version with a built-in sensor. Now it can be opened and closed by simply waving. The default setting after opening is the highest suction level, but if all three levels could be selected by the sensor, it would be an even better design.

The range hood that I ordered taking a long time delivery to my house, but I understand that it's a new version product and needs more time to shipping from China. The problem is we realized a sunken imperfection on the right side of the item after the installation by my husband. We decided to don't bother to asking a return since we've finished the installation. To be honest, the powerful function of the range hood is pretty impressed though.
