[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] scooter performance is good even on soft surfaces. get a 4 amp battery if you live where long inclines or soft surfaces are the norm. chair is comfortable and the steering is tight enough to get thru the house. assembly was simple and make sure to adjust the front suspension to your weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought my 3-year-old, 3-wheel  SuperHandy scooter was fantastic after I took it on a week-long trip to Washington DC, around museums a mile from my hotel, and in a bookstore with boxes in the isle, I amazed the owner as the first scooter who managed to get around without getting stuck. It was versatile, durable, and Super Handy. 

Three years later, when I needed a scooter for my wife too, I researched long and hard because there were so many new models out there. Having big wheels with suspension springs on the front and a good experience with SuperHandy service in the past sold me on this model. The price on Walmart was several hundred dollars below anywhere else, so I ordered it. 

It came today. I put it together in a half hour. We just went for its first ride-about 2 miles on a boardwalk. Bumps seem to have vanished. The extra cushion we used on the seat of the old model was unneeded on this one. We could go faster than the speed walkers, but not too fast. It was superbly stable and easily maneuverable in tight spaces. The big surprise was that it was actually easier to put in the back of our minivan, because the fourth wheel and longer wheelbase made it easier to lift the front first and back later than on the lighter 3-wheel model. In another 5 years there might be a better deal on the market. But I can't imagine you'll find one today.

Great looking mobility  scooter especially for younger person. Just wished you could use it to go up hills and step bridges better with out sliding back down and need help pushing up to get over.

Convenient and powerful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There is a learning curve for this manually operated scooter. Anyone with limited memory or strength, I DO NOT recommend.  You have to pay attention to the breaking and selecting the gear you need; if the scooter is stopped and not on a flat surface, it rolls. Therefore, you will have to continue to hold handbrake or set the parking break. This scooter doesnt gear itself down. Taking thumb off throttle doesn't  automatically slow it down.
It's a fast scooter even in slow speed.
Assembly  wasn't  hard if you have the correct tools.

Learning Curve

Bought this a year ago,  Oct 16, 2024, works ok range is ok, My problem is I have gone thru 3 sets of front  tires.  They do not wear well at all.  Would be better if the tires were solid instead of pheumatic.  Finding replacements are a bear.

Would not move me on anything other than a perfectly flat surface.  Recommendation not to buy is based solely on my experience, for smaller statured person this may be perfectly good unit

If you purchase this scooter from Walmart you will only get 2-2 amp batteries, everywhere else give you a 2 & a 4 amp , Walmart description is very vague , over all I like scooter , but I have an issue it keeps shutting off for no reason, happened when I was crossing a street, have to turn power back on , this happens multiple times during my outings , I'am concerned about unit
