The boys will love it! the colors are bright. it is not as thick as you would think it would be but for a child it is fine as their style or grow out of this pokemon stage. ;)

Every Christmas since my son went to a twin size bed we get him a new bedding set. He loves getting bedding with his favorite characters on it and I can't wait to see his face when he opens his Pokémon bedding! It's also nice to have extra bedding for accidents, spills or just regular washing to replace.

Well, this set is very cute and I appreciate the minimal packaging it shipped in. However, the material is very cheap and plasticky feeling. Five year old doesn't care because all he cares about is the Pokemon on it, but I wish it was a more quality fabric so that it would last longer.
