I love this scooter. I don't have a vehicle at the moment and this thing gets me where I need to go. As long as its fully charged I can make it to work, charge it while im there and be goood to ride it home. Weather permitted of course. My only downfall are hills and using the headlight. Those 2 things can drain the battery faster. Other than that I would definitely recommend getting one! Even just for fun!

Great Product

Bought for my 100lbs child but is rugged enough for a 240lbs adult riding around at the beach. This is a fantastic value for 120-200lbs riders in cityscapes and parks, and with that in mind I highly recommend it! 

This thing has no suspension to speak of so the ride can get a little rough off pavement, but for the price point and weight, this is perfectly acceptable. Regardless of the rider, it tops out about 15.1mph on flat terrain, which is a little under the advertised speed. It also only has a single disc brake, not ideal, but sufficient. The claimed range of 12 miles seems about accurate, but difficult to measure in our hilly area of Maine. And it has enough power for climbing gentle hills, but will struggle on steep inclines and thick grass. Since it has no walk feature, getting it up a hill requires walking uphill at brisk 3mph to get any assistance from the scooter.

If you go much over 200lbs, the brakes, climbing power, and lack of suspension will be very limiting, and I recommend looking elsewhere. This is also a bit heavy for someone under 100lbs to handle (lifting over curbs, folding, carrying).  The brakes aren't strong enough for heavy riders, and you'll enter a skid with lighter riders.

Great value for cityscapes and parks

I bought 2 scooters. It is a very good electric scooter. It drives fast, and the assembly is easy and smooth. The only issue is with the hook that holds the brake cable (crack on hook) but I requested a replacement for this part, and I think the manufacturer will send it to me.

Gotrax Rival electrical scooter

I would like to give my scooter 2 thumbs up. I'm a truck driver, so I it in my truck. when I'm stuck at a truck stop, and i need to go to Walmart or go grab a bite. I just jump on my little scooter and go. The only issue I have with it is the battery life. I wish it had a bigger battery pack. Other than that, I'm tickled pink

Got this for our 9 year old son. Extremely easy to assemble, easy to maneuver. This is such better quality than the cheap ones and will outlast any of his friend's kid electric scooters. Glad we went with an adult one, he will have this for a long while!

I bought this for my 13 year old granddaughter. It's a nice size and speed for teenagers. It looks great and has the GO TRAX logo on the part leading to the steering in big letters, really nice. The wheels are very fashion forward and trendy . My granddaughter says "grandma it rides so smooth". excellent buy and  also grabbed the additional insurance.

Overall happy with the purchase. Did have difficulty lifting it out from its folded position and had to readjust the screws settings a little. But overall enjoying the ride. Does struggle uphill and like the cruise control feature and it's quick disconnect by brake or speed toggle.  Would like to see upgrades to the brakes.

FUNTRAX WITH GOTRAX

This scooter is not some thing you want as an adult. It's weak the slightest bit of a resistance and incline and it basically comes to a halt then have to kick assistance and where I stay it's lots of hills. Like barely a couple miles and battery be drainage and don't let it be night the light alone just cutting it on losing a power bar.

We got this for my daughter for christmas from "santa" it was her one and only big gift, we put it together easily with the directions, charged it until the light turned green after a few hours we teied to test it and the console (handle bars) that electeically attatch to the pole wont turn on. All the adults tried giving a good push start thinking thats what would kick it on and nothing. Its very disappointing to pay so much money for something and havi g a devastated child. This was literally her only christmas wish. I really hope walmart will have a replacement or get the issue fixed but we wont know until walmart is open again. very very disastified customer at this time.

WOULDNT TURN ON

You should expect to get only 4 miles from this scooter on a full battery charge, not 12 as claimed in the description. That's good enough for just taking a spin around the park, but it's not good enough for commuting to work or school, if you live more than 2 miles away. You would only get 12 miles from this scooter if you are a magical elf. And you have a tailwind. And it's downhill. Both ways. And also you just happen to have a much bigger battery in your magical elf backpack.
