I already have one of these and bought a second one to cover more area in my home and replace an older noisier air purifier.  I find it does a really good job at detecting air pollution from kitchens when it is on automatic mode but is not necessarily as aggressive at detecting tiny pollen and fragrances (such as perfumes and natural flower smells)  so I have to manually set it to a higher level when I'm trying to clear those from my home.

Coway….is the way…

I've been using this Coway air purifier for a while now and I'm very happy with it. The air feels noticeably cleaner, especially in the morning and after cooking. It does a great job reducing dust and odors.

I have been using two Airmega Mighty's for a couple of years. I have asthma and live in upstate New York. There was a particular summer when we had a lot of smoke from Canadian wild fires and I was having a terrible time trying to breathe. My husband ordered the two Airmega's and as soon as we got them he placed them in our bedrooms and turned them on high. It did not take long for our upstairs air to clear up. We set them on auto after the air was cleaned and they've kept our home breathable ever since. We had a different brand air purifier downstairs and it was not doing the job. I ordered an Airmega Mighty to replace it and it's going to be here today. I am so happy to get it.

So far I love it. Super quiet too, which is nice. I use it for my painting studio - I use oil paints along with mineral spirits to thin the paint so it is important to try and filter as many pollutants as possible. There’s no real way for me to measure how pollutant-free the air is in there, but it smells less of chemicals and oil - so that is a win in my book.

Solid buy

The Coway is nearly silent at the lowest speed, and even its highest speed is still quieter than the other brand’s purifier that it replaced. I like that the filters aren’t made with a huge plastic frame that ends up as garbage; vacuuming the filters and mesh pre-filter makes so much more sense than other brands’ visible cloth pre-filters that have to be shaken out and washed.

Sleek & quiet! Works just as well as noisier ones

I did dock one star because the new units only come with one carbon filter (and one HEPA) but it's recommended you change the carbon every 6 months yet you can only buy replacement filters in packs of 2 carbon 1 HEPA, so you'll always have to store the HEPA an additional 6 months that way. I just won't change my carbon for a year so I can average it out.
Ok, so I wanted something powerful in my son's room as it's dusty from lots of Lego sets on display, and we have gas heat which seems to be dusty. I set this up and turned it on max while I got Lego sets down to brush them off in front of it with a paintbrush and I could see the dust falling off and going right into the purifier without touching the floor! Strong suction from front and sides, nice design and aesthetic and the most important thing for me is the sound. It's kind of a blue noise when it runs so pretty soothing. I bought some Airmega 100's and I couldn't stand the sound. Overall I'm real happy with this model, so much I now have 4 in my home. Probably overkill but I feel confident they work well.

Powerful suction

The filter has a plastic smell that remains even after a week or two of running the filter about 1 hour per day. Otherwise, it seems to clear the air of any dust within about 15 minutes in a small room. The purifier is also larger than I imagined, make sure you check that you are fine with the size.

I have been buying Coway Airmega 1512HH for many years but the last two I have bought have been defective. The light doesn't inform you that air quality is compromised and after 6 months use the light also came on to inform me to replace the carbon filter but there was nothing on the carbon filter at all, when there should have been. The other two Coway Airmegas in my apartment did inform me when air quality was bad and the carbon filters were collecting what they should on them. No matter which of the three rooms I moved the two bad purifiers to, they didn't work. The two newest ones I bought in the last year were defective from day one! I'm looking for a new brand purifier now but I would give anything for Coway to work because I used to LOVE them!!
