Thru ~1 month, these iPhone Lightning cables are performing as described; the Kevlar reinforcement is readily evident, yet the cables are not in any way bulky, and in some ways easier to call and uncoil without kinking or thing themselves in knots; it's too early to speak to their long-term performance thought I'm hopeful in that regard

The cord seems substantial and the tips robust. As always, the proof is in the durability -- how long they last before they start reporting data errors and failing to charge depending on how the cable is flexed at the tips. I haven't had the cable long enough to determine this.

Starts off strong, hope it lasts as well.

I have kids. Several kids. Which means several tranquiliz--erm, iPads. The kids are on a strict regiment for making sure these get plugged in after playing. I specifically got the 18 inch cables because I was enforcing the "if its charging, you aren't playing it" rule (get some frigg'n sunshine or something, lol).

These seem well built. Works well for our multi-charger in our home.

The Atlas flex cables I purchased are excellent well constructed cables that should stand the test of hard use and time due the molded strain reliefs at each end of the Kevlar-nylon cable, but I still prefer the Monoprice Luxe series Lightning cables because of the LED charging status indicator in the lightning tip end of the cables. I find the LED extremely useful in locating the end of the cable in a dark room and knowing the charge status of the iPhone or iPad without the need to waken the device and look at the display. Ditto for my AirPods no need to open the case to see Apple's charge indicator LED.

Monoprice should add the LED status indicator to the Atlas series cables and they would have a 10 star product (and could discontinue the predecessor products).

Excellent 5 Star Cable but...

So far, so good. I would rate it 5 stars, but longevity is the piece I will not know about for some time. It is robustly made, so I have high hopes. 

I have Monoprice HDMI cables that I recommend, but they are in a static home entertainment installation unlike this lightning cable that gets daily plugging, unplugging, twisting, bending, etc.

Another Good Monoprice Cable

I have another review posted on Jan 17, 2019, but I can't find a way to update it.  Consider this the update.  :-)

The cable officially started failing today.  As expected, my 5yr old son's yanking and bending finally got the best of this cable.  The cable shows no apparent signs of misuse, but when I plug it in, there's a short somewhere in it, seemingly near the lightning connector.  Slightly more than breathing on it causes the device to go in and out of charging and/or being recognized by any computers. (Confirmed same results on a different apple device.)   So it'll go back under Monoprice's lifetime warranty.  And I'm OK with that.  I intentionally bought two more a while ago: One for the Wife and one as a working spare when this one goes kaput.

When my son lays on his bed or the floor with the iPad plugged in, it'll be resting on the cable causing a bend.  (You can only expect so much out of a child in terms of "Please don't do that.")   To be truthful, it wasn't ever a full 90° bend, so I'm a bit surprised that it still frayed the inner cable or caused a faulty solder joint.  Oh well, "Don't know; Doesn't matter" I guess.  LOL

Lasted 9 months before failure.

I really like Monoprice cables -- usually.  And I've purchased many braided cables for AV and pro audio use.  They are highly flexible and durable.  These, however, are VERY rigid, almost as if the wires are solid and not stranded.  The cable lengths include the ends, which makes the 1.5' cable pretty useless for me.  But my big complaint is the lack of flexibility in the cable.  I won't return them, but I probably won't use them either except as a backup.

Eh.  Wouldn't buy again

I bought the 1.5 foot version about a year ago and used it in a charging station. It was used pretty lightly, not plugged in and out a lot, etc. Now it just doesn't work anymore. There are no external signs of wear and tear, so I would say that all the kevlar reinforcing and nylon braiding has protected the outside just fine. Unfortunately, the cable itself is no longer functional. I have some others from this same family and hope that they hold up better.

Stopped working after a year of light use

Great cord to start. Been with Monoprice for quite sometime. This cable was advertised as a LIFETIME guarantee. When I try to request a replace, the area will not allow me to request a replacement.
NOT TOO SURE WHATS GOING ON HERE MONOPRICE.

Started off GREAT. Went downhill quickly

We were using the 6ft cord to charge  multiple Ipads. While the cable would bend 90 degrees at the lightning end. The the piece that goes into the device snapped off. This has happened twice. First one was warranty replaced. I can't be bothered to  get another atlas series cable.
