This is my third unit. First, bought second hand, worked so well that I bought a second. My daughter liked it so well, it is in her dorm room now.. Its good for moving hot and cold air. Bought the third and it's mine (until second child goes to college). I still am shocked that it will run all night and be barely warm to the touch

Super longevity and performance

Our first Vornado went everywhere with us! We even took it to Israel, from Texas, during the summer of 2015. We had NO air conditioning there and the windows to the busy city streets in Jerusalem were open all night. We stayed cool and never heard a thing! We just now purchased a new one and it is equally wonderful!

We love the Vornado!

Bought 3 of this 2 weeks ago for my children bedrooms, they are compact, not taking much room and powerful in moving air in the rooms to keep the whole bedrooms cool during hot days, feel comfortable with 5 degree higher setting for A/C , save money in energy. Love them.

Great air circulator

Vornado fans are the only fans I use and this is a re-purchase of a fan that has worked beautifully for years… There's nothing on the market that can beat them! Highly recommend!

Most fantastic fan ever!

Second Vornado fan we have purchased. Another great product. Well made, quiet, design looks good. Quiet operation. We have this in our primary bathroom to help with ventilation - perfect for this use.

Great small fan

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't let the size of the fan deceive you. This fan is powerful! You can tell the quality is amazing when you first take it out of the box. It's sturdy and well built. The design is nice. It fits in perfectly with my décor.  It has three speed settings. Where I live it gets over 100 degrees during the summer. So far, I am loving the middle setting of the fan, but I have a feeling the high setting will be perfect on the few days it gets over 110 degrees. The fan circulates the air in the room so you can get a cool feeling even if you are not right in front of it. The sound the fan makes is not loud. The sound does get a little louder the higher the fan speed setting but it's not so loud that you can't sleep with it on. I highly recommend this fan. It works just as well as the big fans but takes up less space. A great buy!

I love the highest setting because it is loud enough to block out outside noises so I can sleep. Only downfall is pricey

We have had several Vornado fans- from small to large standing ones. This is our current second small one as I gave mine to my son for his room. This was my replacement. I unbox and set it up. I am getting overheated while I'm sitting on the couch crocheting , so I decided to turn on my brand new- never-before-used fan. Turn the dial and less than one mother——-ing second later it stops and makes a jarring sound as the bright green yarn that is embellished with tinsel starts flapping in the short-lived wind. I had not noticed that a skein of yarn had dropped behind the fan and the starting bit got sucked in IMMEDIATELY into the blades/motor. Tried unscrewing and can't get it apart. Won't ask for a refund because it was my own fault. Vornado makes GREAT fans- we use a large one every night as we sleep. I love Vornado fans, but now I don't have a working fan for my over-heated 55 year old self because of my own da*n fault. For that one second, though?  Man, it was a blast.

Vornado is great, but can't handle yarn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i have used this in my 10x10 bedroom with the door closed and window open and it provided great air circulation so that i was able to get a sound sleep. the low mode is very quiet. the Medium and high mode does make a humming noise.  The fan is adjustable so you are able to aim it in any direction up or down. Easily fits on a nightstand.

great for bedroom

Ive only had this fan a few weeks and it suddenly stopped working. It wasnt even on the highest speed. Really disappointed considering the price of this. 
This never happened to any fan in the past.
