I was sealing several varieties of bulk dry beans for our pantry storage.  I chose to portion them out into 1 lb bags (16 oz). It was very time-consuming, as I had over 40 lbs. to finish. But Avid Armer pre-cut bags was a time savor, instead of using Rolls. These bags are of good quality, and I prefer using this brand and recommend them to anyone.

Be careful when you are looking for bags of this nature. If you need your bag to vacuum air out it has to have at least one side with texture, that texture allows the air to get out, if both sides are smooth you can only seal the bag.  Learn from my mistakes. Read reviews, start with the bad ones . These bags made by AvidArmor are seriously strong. I had no problem with vacuuming the air out. Totaly the right bags for me. I use them to put meals in my freezer, I am alone so it was important not to waste.  I just made cinnamon rolls, freeze 2 in a bag, pop it in the microwave, perfect. Lasagna is awesome.  Take it straight from the freezer to a pot of water on stove boil it in the bag 20 mins. turn off heat let sit 10 mins good as the day you made it. Clean up is a breeze. My point is that this bag is the real deal, you don't have to scrimp, it's a great product at a great price.  Came the next day!

Second time purchased!  My husband vacuum packs food often, and has been happy with this size and quality.  Will buy again.

these vac bags work real good and are a good value.

Tried about 20 of these in my Foodsaver with poor/marginal results. Some bags would not even vacuum. I think they are too thin for my machine. The bags that did vacuum sealed well but most ended up being thrown away. The only bags that I've found that were worse came from Temu.

You get what you pay for

Failure rate of 44% just repackaging dried rice. Some appeared to vacuum and seal only minutes later showing it was not sealed after all. A true waste of money!
