[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is great, the assembly is complicated. In my case about 7 pieces did not have leveling on them and I did do a drawer backward. I adjusted because the pieces wouldn't fit together and then I accidentally broke one, I'm trying to figure out the best glue to use for melamine before I resort to the nail gun. Assembly took me, while watching a 4 year old, about 11 hours including fixing the mistake. The product is great though, it's heavy and solid, it feels sturdy.

This bed was very difficult to assemble. We only succeeded because an engineer in the family visited for Christmas. The mattress was NOT included and I don't believe this was satisfactorily noted.  Quite a surprise not to have a mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2 boxes it comes in are quite heavy. The instructions are pretty clear. Having 2 people definitely helped. The material is quite sturdy. I would recommend assembling in the room it goes in. I think we are going to be happy with it.

Quite sturdy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Murphy bed for our office. Our office is small but we wanted to be able to utilize every room, if we were to have guests spend the night. 

The is easy to assemble per the instruction manual but it does take a little over 6  hours to assemble with only 1 person building it. The only problem I have is that it is extremely bulky. 

It's convenient, thick as a dresser and you can place things on top. The bottom drawers work as bedding storage and you can store your foldable mattress inside of the dresser.

Convenient but bulky

This is particle board (of course) and comes in two very heavy boxes and in a million pieces. It took hubby and I about 5 hours to assemble it. The directions were clear, parts labeled well, and the piece is well designed. The front part of the cabinet bows out slightly when closed, but it's not too noticeable. It fits a 4” foldable memory foam mat that I purchased separately. And the storage drawer is large and deep. We had a small space in our workout room that we wanted to be able to put a bed so we can accommodate an overnight guest and this fit the bill perfectly!

Well designed cabinet bed

I have yet to fully assemble because the directions are very confusing also I'm very disappointed that the mattress that goes with the bed does not come with it, it says nowhere the mattress for this bed is sold separately so yeah I was extremely disappointed in that so now I am lost at what kind  and where do I find this mattress?

I'm very disappointed to discover there's no mattress with this bed! In all the info I read , it never said anything about the mattress sold separately.  In all the pictures it always showed the bed with a mattress. Except in the diagram that shows how to put it together. What good is the bed without a mattress that'll fold up and fit like it's advertised?? Very upset with this purchase!
I'm so disgusted, I haven't even put it together yet. It's sitting in pieces, totally unusable!

Misleading Murphy bed

The product is fine upon the completion but it take so long to assemble and it was tough to follow.  Once assembled it was fine.  The real draw back is that the mattress DOES NOT COME WITH THE PACKAGE and the retailer does not sell a mattress, they only sell the Murphy bed so finding a mattress compatible to the area allotted was as challenging as the assembly itself.

The description should highlight that there is no mattress, and there should be a link to a mattress as an option for an additional purchase to complete the project all at once.

Once I compared the costs of the item and then the cost of a mattress, you may be better off going to get it through another supplier so when you have it assembled the item can be used the same day which was our intention.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Literally not even together yet, it took an hour just to get everything open and finish step one, only 62 more steps to go like this!! Only about 10 of the pieces are actually labeled so have to go through every piece to try and locate one that looks like the photo and hope it's right. Also need a drill which I don't have so hopefully can make it work with a screw driver. Honestly not worth it at all.

Impossible to assemble

it was not clear that the item didn't also include the mattress. there are others of similar quality for $300 less. not happy with this purchase. due to the size almost impossible to return
