Purchased the Infared Sauna Blanket for my husband as a holiday gift. He plays hockey 3x a week and always has an ache or two. He's used the blanket for the last month and LOVES it. Not only is it relaxing, but it also helps the soreness of his muscles. I've also tried it and agree! It's perfect for an active family with great health benefits.

For weeks I have climbed in my sauna blanket after my daily walk. It restores my muscles and helps calm my mind. I set a 30-minute alarm and wear my LED face mask as I slightly snooze. Afterward I take a refreshing shower and drink a large iced water. This daily routine has helped me sleep better and recover from stressful days at work.

Loving my sauna blanket

I have wanted a sauna blanket for a while, as I really miss the sauna from the gym and I won't be going back into a public sauna for a long time, if ever. I am so enjoying having this, it really feels beneficial to me and is helping me to relax and sleep. I imagine the enjoyment will only increase as our weather gets colder, and I hope to see cumulative health benefits as I use it regularly over a longer period. My husband is using it too, and is also enjoying it.Here's why I docked one star:1. It is flat at the bottom, which makes my feet and ankles uncomfortable. I can slightly remedy this by placing a pillow under my knees, but it's still an issue. It should be easy for Higher Dose to design a blanket with a gusset at the bottom, and maybe even an add-on item that could zipper in, for the version I purchased. This would make a huge difference to the comfort of the sauna, especially for taller people—the whole point of this is to relax, and foot pain doesn't help to achieve this goal. 2. The controller does not have a timer on it, which again should be a very simple thing to do, and one that would help users a lot. It's annoying trying to keep track of the time, as it usually means that I have to have a device such as a phone near me, which is not exactly conducive to relaxation.

I like it, but it could be better

I have used the Higher Dose V4 infrared Sauna Blanket four times. I purchased the blanket/insert also. I use in at full power for the full time. Yes the Sauna blanket gets hot, but I do not get a sweat. The heavy weight of the sauna blanket is a bit hard on my feet. It is a little confining. I was hoping for more of a sauna treatment. Very expensive, electric blanket.
