Just remember boil it a few times all the way before using it just to make sure it's sterile and clean. This electric kettle has been amazing. I had another version that has been in use for about 7 years, but this is sleeker and more advanced.
It boils water very quickly, and once on it has this very beautiful blue glow from the light inside the kettle.
The light is very subtle and not intrusive at all but instead gives off this beautiful ambience that you will love to just watch.
The construction of the kettle itself is solid and the materials feel durable.
It has this expensive look and feel to it. Nothing in it feels or look cheap.
The glass is pretty solid.
One really good this is that even when the kettle is boiling the water, the handle of the kettle never heats up. You can just pick it up without any problem.
The power cord length is good, not too short. This gives more flexibility on where you can place it.
Will I recommend this kettle? Definitely.
It is looks good on the counter surface, it is efficient, fast, sleek, and has the look of quality.

Get one!!

Functions as described, pretty to watch as it boils.  Heats water very fast.  Very easy to fill and pour, no spillage. Light weight.

Great kettle

I really love my kettle. I set up a table inside of the bedroom to use it and it's nice to be able to have a cup 1st thing. The down side for me is that i wanted a kettle with no plastic near the water. This one has a plastic hinge made on to the top inner part of the glass. It's indirect so I don't mind too much, oh well. Also I didn't pay enough attention, the water point in the picture is the 1.5 Lt.  max. At that point when the water boils if it's just over that line the water can sputter out, so be careful.  What I love is that I am finding more uses for the kettle now that it's upstairs.  The water is hot enough to fix instant oatmeal, and I can now quickly heat up water for a hot water bottle without pulling the stairs. So for me it's become more practical than I thought it would be. Lastly, I love that it comes in so many colors. Because of the multi colors  and good performance I'm about to buy one as a gift.
