I am _so_ happy I learned about this amp. I am so bummed I learned about this amp only as late as I did. I should have just looked harder. This is an all-round gem. The amp can take pedals quite fine (though I have only tried it with a few basic pedals--boss looper, tubescreamer) and it can also work with the Boss ME-90. Loud enough for small venues, I think (say large--600sqft basement) and quiet enough for smaller rooms (15/1W switch). Wonderful tube warble/gnarl and it has elevated my practice sessions in more than one way.

Coming from a largely solid-state world and terrified of tube-amp prices from name brands, I am so happy with this amp. I immediately ended up buying a tube kit(amplified parts MOD 102 ) and made my own guitar amp cabinet with a 12" celestion because I had become tube-obsessed...

Oh--did I say that this monoprice amp has a 12-inch celestion?

Fantastic tube amp

What other 15 watt valve amplifier is out there with a 12' speaker that you can buy for $300.99? It uses the same tube/valve set as the Vox.  It does what you expect from a tube amp .  Great for home and gigs. It can be daisy chained and connected to a 4x12 speaker cabinet.  It has an effects loop so yo can add stomp boxes as you like. Great all around amplifier.

Best amp for the money

Great amplifier for small jazz/blues music venues . Its quality is very good at a price that is far less than other name brand amplifiers that perform in the same way.

Stage Right 15 watt tube combo amplifier.

This is a fantastic tube amp for home jamming and practicing,. however if  your in a live band, it's really not gonna cover the drums etc, unless u mic it.

Monoprice Stage Right 15 W Tube Amp

Owned a LOT of amps over the years. Gotta say, for the money, this is the best small, low wattage amp I've ever owned. Already used it at a gig and it performed perfectly and sounded great. Might have to get another amp as a backup. If you're considering a Blues Jr, might I suggest this amp instead.

This amp smokes. I play professionally - been doing it for 54 years.  I have several amps.  I use this for rehearsal. It cuts it. It's light.  I can carryit. I do have reservations about how long it will last. Hopefully for a long time - or until I leave this earth.

15 Watt Tube Amp? Yes.

If you're looking for an amp that has a nice crisp deep sound and a Fender blues Jr is more than you want to spend, then this amp is perfect. It's more of a Knock off of a Laney Amp than a Blues Jr since the distortion is more of a UK sound; overall a great amp. The 12" Celestion speaker gives you the bass you need compared to a 10" so that's what won me over. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the reverb which is just ok and can't take it past 3, otherwise it's too springy. It has a great clean sound, and this is a perfect no nonsense practice amp that really delivers a great sound.

Huge value, didn't like the speaker. Recommend changing speaker.

Usable

Tried to cancel but item was delivered.  Then it was picked up 15 min later.  Still waiting on refund over a week since item was delivered back.to monoprice.  There is a communication delay between Walmart and 3rd party vendor. In my brief experience with the amp.  I found the amp was cheaply made.  You wont want to travel with it .
