Seems to work fine. Haven't hit the continual summer heat yet but delivery was early. All put together fine. Our window is a bit bigger so I should have checked size but still does well.

Hottest week of the year we bought it and took it to the cottage.   Awesome job.   Worked great.   Don't forget to check the hose for the window kit.

Nameless

Easy to install, works very well in my bachelor apartment to keep it cool, and it looks good too. The one negative is, it is loud.

Mostly great

Unit is very compact for a 10,000BTU A/C.
You need to set the temperature to the lowest setting to keep the compressor running for more than 10 mins or it stops. It cools well, and is on the mid noise side, but that is how most of these portable units sound.  The exhaust tube provided is way too short, and I needed to spend more money to make it reach out the window.

Very loud and rattly. Cools a small room fast, but i would not buy it again. Recommend paying a little more for a unit that will not disturb your concentration.

Loud but effective

GE portable air cofdnditionor

I have a 8500BTU Midea portable AC that was almost half price that's far more effective. It literally will pull buckets of water out of the air and comes with all the hoses and foam you need plus extras. 

This overpriced unit doesn't come with the drain hose which isn't a huge problem because it barely reduces the humidity at all anyways. It doesn't give off much cold air and also doesn't come with enough foam strips to insulate the window. It's better than nothing, I use it to cool the tiniest room in my house and the Midea cools the rest of the house.

Weaker than my 8500BTU that cost half as much

I have bought two of these units. Both worked great for one summer and then both of them stopped blowing cold air the following summer (compressor issues) just past the year warranty unfortunately... funny how that goes... I was fooled by the cheap price and reputable brand. I am staying away from GE air-conditioners in the future.
