Love this coffeemaker!

L.ove my coffee maker.  It is red and matches my kitchen perfectly. i  have the red toaster also and canopener.  Everything  works together in my red rooster decorated kitchen.   Love it!

Great purchase

I was surprised that it is so beautiful. I got the red one and it matches my other appliances perfectly. There's only one drawback, it is definitely not a drip pause, it doesn't pause dripping when you remove the coffee pot. Other than that it works perfectly and it's so beautiful! Thanks

Okay, hear me out. This could be a good coffee maker for visually impaired people. It has no window to see how much water you're putting in the reservoir. Instead it has an indentation like a tiny staircase inside the reservoir, that you can easily feel. Top step equals 12 cups. Second step means 10 cups, etc. It takes a little getting used to. The machine makes a tasty cup of coffee, and it looks cute, and ultimately the appearance was the big selling point for me. It's almost a metallic red, which isn't quite the shade I was hoping for, but still very cute.

Purchased Dec 29, by May... water leaks out of the bottom. Even if water does not leak on occasion, it never brews a full pot.  we put in 12 cups of water, and get 8 cups in the pot.  Where does the water go??  Why is it leaking from the bottom?? And why does it take FOREVER to brew a pot??  We we were super excited to add this to our retro styled kitchen, but extremely disappointed we can barely use it not even 6 months later!!

DISAPPOINTED

It has never entirely worked properly. You put in 12 cups of water and four scoops of coffee and now I'm lucky if I get 2 cups of coffee out of it, it does not pause for you to pour the coffee. I should've sent it back when I could not recommend purchasing this coffee pot, it is super cool looking

Cool but crap

I purchased this coffee maker in June.  Straight out of the box, it would not pump water from the reservoir into the coffee pot. It would heat up %26 make noises like it was pumping but the pot would not fill fill up.  I returned it %26 got a refund. Thinking it was a fluke,  I ordered the exact same model again.  After using, the first thing I noticed is that the stopper does not stop the coffee from pouring into the pot when you remove the pot from the heat plate so you have to wait a few min after the brew mode is done before you can remove the pot. So I've now been using this maker for 6 months.  This morning it stopped working. Just like the first one I bought,  it does not pump water from the reservoir into the pot. For the price, this should last longer than 6 months. I will never purchase another coffee pot made by  Nostalgia.  Buyer Beware!

Although the machine was beautiful it didn't have an auto shut off it also over flowed because the coffee filter does not filter quickly enough. Disappointed.
