I'm using this in my makeshift outdoor "pond". I have my carnivorous  plants on a platform, just barely in the water, and I have a small shield to slow down the flow between the two. It is very functional. I will have to find better looking pots to make it more glamorous.

its quiet but you can still hear it. dont buy it if you have micro fish like neon tetra. definitely adds flow to a 20 gallon tank. i recommend putting a plant right in front of it to lower the flow of the water in the tank.

this is like the one I have, glad it came with the suction cups because hanging it would not work

Works so much better than the much, much more expensive one we bought at the pet store for our turtles. It cleared the tank up within a couple hours and keeps it cleaner than it's ever been.

Fabulous

This filter was easy to install, efficient and extremely quiet. It's slim, no external pieces except for the electrical cord. It's used in a turtle tank. Turtles are very messy but the water remains crystal clear.

Filter works perfectly.

We have a 20 gallon tank with a beta, corydoras, loaches, and a frog. It has done a good job keeping the tank clean so far. It is very quiet but makes a weird ticking noise when the cartridge gets dirty. We have it auctioned to the side because the hook had it hanging too low, we also had to remove about an inch and a half of water to keep the lip above the water. However, it allows our tank so now slide underneath the shelves. Perfect for what we needed.
